A third-generation hotelier, Romain’s career has taken him across some of the world’s most distinguished hospitality destinations. After beginning his professional journey at the Michelin two-star restaurant Le Gavroche in London, he went on to hold senior leadership positions with renowned international brands across France, New Caledonia, Seychelles, Indonesia and French Polynesia. His experience spans both urban luxury hotels and world-class island resorts, reflecting a career defined by operational excellence, cultural appreciation and an unwavering dedication to personalised service.
Since joining Four Seasons in 2022, Chanet has served as General Manager of Four Seasons Resort Bora Bora, where he led the team with genuine care, authentic hospitality and property development. His appointment to Four Seasons Hotel Rabat at Kasr Al Bahr reflects the brand’s continued commitment to nurturing exceptional leadership across its global portfolio.

Born in Deauville, France, Chanet holds a degree in Hospitality Business, Marketing and Finance from Hotel Savoie Léman. Fluent in both English and French, he brings an international perspective shaped by leadership experiences across Europe, the Indian Ocean and the Asia-Pacific region.
As General Manager, Romain oversees every aspect of the hotel’s operations, guiding its continued evolution while upholding Four Seasons enduring commitment to service excellence, innovation and heartfelt hospitality.
