Four Seasons Hotel San Francisco is celebrating the most wonderful time of the year with a new menu of warm holiday cocktails to be available at MKT Restaurant & Lounge throughout all of December 2022. The award-winning Hotel and Restaurant has decked the halls with festive décor, and offers front row seats to San Francisco’s holiday glow from the floor-to-ceiling windows that wrap around MKT’s 5th floor location.

Available daily, MKT’s warm holiday cocktails include:

  • MK-Toddy - Hennessy V.S. Cognac, hot water, maple syrup, lemon juice
  • “Not Your Grandma’s Tea” - Hendricks Gin, house infused apple cider, orange bitters, almond spiced cookie
  • House Mulled Wine - Terrazas Altos Cabernet, Korbel Brandy, cider, seasonal fruit, green cardamom, cloves, cinnamon
  • Moose Nog - Ron Zacapa 23 Rum, eggnog, fresh nutmeg
  • Roe & Co. Irish Coffee - Roe & Co. Irish Whiskey, coffee, brown sugar, poured cream
  • Peppermint Patty - Ketel One Vodka, Tempus Pugit Crème de Menthe, Valrhona cocoa, chantilly crème

MKT Restaurant & Lounge will serve an a la carte menu throughout December, with surprise and delight holiday moments woven throughout. Executive Chef Kevin Tanaka has created special Christmas Eve menu, in addition to the a la carte menu, with a four-course prix fixe menu (USD 95 per person) that features a parsnip bisque with a pomegranate reduction; a winter greens salad with persimmon, pomegranate, candied walnuts and white balsamic vinaigrette; a Niman Ranch tenderloin with cauliflower mousse, cipollini onions, romanesco, cabernet shallot jus; and an eggnog verrine with a gingerbread crumble for dessert.

For Christmas Day, the five-course prix fixe (USD 150) will include dishes such as a scallop crudo with lemon curd and pickled blueberry, baby red beet salad with shaved fennel and frisée, goat cheese mousse, almond crumble and a citrus vinaigrette; and a pan seared sea bass with butter bean ragout, baby kale, crispy pancetta and preserved lemon parsley gremolata. To finish, a show-stopping Bûche de Noel with a chocolate genoise and peppermint.

The five-star hotel and restaurant will ring in the New Year with a seven-course prix fixe menu (USD 225/person) that includes dishes such as BeauSoleil oysters with lemon chive crème and osetra caviar; house-made pappardelle pasta with dried scallop XO sauce, sundried tomatoes and scallions in an uni cream sauce; herb roasted duck breast with black lentils, braised Tuscan kale, pearl onions, blistered tomatoes and orange cardamom duck jus; and a dark chocolate mousse with yuzu chocolate “rocks,” candied honeycomb, caramelized hazelnuts and Chambord consommé. A curated champagne menu includes multiple options, by the glass or bottle, from Dom Pérignon to Ruinart, Moët and many more to celebrate and welcome 2023.
