Executive Sous Chef Adam Stacy brings a highly refined culinary background to the kitchen at Four Seasons Hotel San Francisco, having built his career within some of the country’s most celebrated fine dining establishments.
His passion for the industry began while working in high school. “I continued to look for restaurants that would provide an education, critical thinking, consistent demand and extreme refinement in the hospitality industry,” he notes. This pursuit led him to spend four years with the Thomas Keller Restaurant Group in New York and to a valuable externship at Gramercy Tavern.
Prior to joining Four Seasons, Chef Stacy sharpened his skills on the West Coast, serving in leadership roles at prestigious locations including Harbor House Inn and holding two stints with Saison Hospitality at both Saison and Angler, focusing on Chef Joshua Skenes’ unique culinary vision. His most recent role before joining the team was Chef de Cuisine for Saison Hospitality.
Chef Stacy was inspired to join Four Seasons after experiencing the company commitment to excellence firsthand. “After several amazing and positive personal memories with Four Seasons, I had much interest in joining a great team of like-minded individuals,” he says.
When not leading the culinary team, Chef Stacy enjoys reflecting on a slightly less fast-paced competition: He is the 1997 4th Grade Chess Club Champion of Sugar Grove Elementary in Greenwood, Indiana.
