Located adjacent to Four Seasons Resort Rancho Encantado, EQUUS is a personal mastery and leadership development organization that creates conditions for breakthrough, learning and transformation. The EQUUS Experience is a uniquely designed, equine-assisted learning process that weaves together various evidence-based disciplines for joyful self-discovery and learning. The process engages an entire herd of equines, trained especially for this work, and is available for individuals, couples, groups or families. EQUUS also provides a unique opportunity to personally engage with the rich Native American heritage through their Pueblo Indian Cultural Horse Herd Encounter. Facilitated by Pueblo member Thunder Bear Yates, this experience immerses participants in the Pueblo ways, their connection to nature, and their unique connection to their spiritual partner, the horse. Guests can seamlessly book their EQUUS journey through the Adventure Center.

Customize a healing journey with The Spa, situated on a spiritual vortex and offering treatments inspired by the botanicals and traditions of Santa Fe. Unwind after a day of exploring New Mexico’s famed landmarks with a Solo Sound Bath Meditation Session to awaken the chakras and energy channels of the body through an immersive meditative journey guided by the yoga of sound. The private sessions also can be experienced on the Monte Vista Terrace, Santa Fe’s most picturesque place to take in the valley’s vistas and stunning sunsets. All guests can take part in the complimentary daily guided hike along the Camino Encantado trail, offering sweeping mountain views. Discovery and Cultural Immersion

The onsite Adventure Center offers ample opportunity for discovery. Explore natural wonders with the Georgia O’Keeffe Country and Ghost Ranch tour. Inspired by the legendary artist Georgia O’Keeffe, whose own solo adventures through the desert made her a cultural icon, the exclusive tour begins with a stop in her winter home of Abiquiu. The tour continues through the cliffs of the Valley of Shining Stone, forever immortalized in her paintings. See the mystical stone turrets of Plaza Blanca, a striking scenery of towering hoodoos, and glimpse O’Keeffe’s beloved Cerro Pedernal, which she famously painted nearly 30 times. The tour concludes at Ghost Ranch with a customized tour.
