From a young age, Pip Penny has had a deep love for the ocean, a passion that has taken her around the world on incredible adventures. Her passion for the ocean is contagious, inspiring everyone she meets, and thus brought her to become a member of WiseOceans.
As a marine conservationist with a focus on coral restoration, Pip dedicated several years to reef restoration projects in diverse locations including Cambodia, Haiti, and the Maldives. Now, she has the privilege of working at Petite Anse, where she contributes to a thriving reef restoration initiative. Pip says, “The natural beauty of Petite Anse is truly awe-inspiring, with vibrant coral reefs covering much of the bay. I’m super lucky to call this my office! The healthy ecosystem attracts a rich variety of marine life, from reef fish and spotted eagle rays to turtles. Recently, we've been fortunate to witness the arrival of numerous whale sharks.”
