Flavour, fragrance and artistry unite, as Four Seasons Hotel Shenzhen opens 2025 with a multisensorial Afternoon Tea in collaboration with luxury Chinese fragrance brand DOCUMENTS. From January 1 to February 28, 2025, the Aromatic Indulgence Afternoon Tea brings the evocative scents and soul-soothing spirit of the avant-garde perfumer to Yi Lounge in an inspiring fusion of taste and aroma.

Since its launch in 2021, DOCUMENTS has gained rapid acclaim for its cutting-edge vision and distinct fragrances. The brand's BOLD-ZEN creativity is epitomised by its Tree parfum series: four unique fragrances – Inter Cedar, Pomelo One, Pepper Bud and Birch Bark – that draw on the healing power of trees to bring positive emotions to the wearer. Inspired by the holistic potential and essence of these blends, Executive Chef William Ong and his team's latest menu of sweet and savoury delights is rooted in transportive memories and natural splendour.

A handcrafted patisserie selection rounds off the experience. The light Lemon Tea Cake and tangy Mandarin Orange Vanilla Cake bring bright, zesty flavours. Vibrant bursts of natural freshness come courtesy of Red Fruit Cheesecake and Seasonal Fruit Glass. And for the ultimate indulgence, a Sichuan Pepper Chocolate Cake combines subtle spice and rich cocoa notes in a deliciously decadent blend. Savoury treats include a warming Spicy Roasted Duck Bagel, bursting with rich depth. An aromatic Wood Smoked Iberico Char Siu Puff Pastry with Pineapple blends smoky notes with a tropical twist. A Sous Vide Chicken Roulade with Berries and Nuts is an intricate balance of sweet, tart and earthy, while a Jasmine Salmon Cucumber Roll adds a delicate touch.
