Four Seasons Hotel Shenzhen Celebrates 13 Years with an Art Exhibition Inspired by Time and Memory

Four Seasons Hotel Shenzhen marks its 13th anniversary this September with a celebration shaped by art, connection, and the passage of time. At its centre is The Dimension of Echo: Memory, Flow and Spiritual Landscapes, an exhibition of works by cross-media artist Xu Ying, curated specially for the occasion by Sukie Chen. In addition, guests can discover thoughtfully crafted experiences and exclusive privileges.

On display at the hotel from September 4 to October 30, 2026, the exhibition brings together pieces created by Ying between 2021 and 2026, tracing her evolving exploration of emotion and memory. From oil on canvas to mixed-media pieces, Ying’s shifting colours and forms resist easy definition and leave ample room for interpretation, inviting viewers into a creative dialogue.

Trained at London’s Royal College of Art and recognised as one of the Top 10 Emerging Artists by the China UCCA Lab x Perrier initiative, Ying’s practice spans painting, installation, sound sculpture, moving image, and performance. Her work sits at the cutting edge of contemporary art, inspiring new ways to perceive the relationships between people, nature, materiality, and spirit.

Unfolding around the passage of time, the hotel’s anniversary celebration moves from the impressions left behind to the moments still unfolding. Hosted at the Executive Club Lounge, The Dimension of Echo exhibition is open from 11 am to 2 pm from September 4 to October 30, 2026. In-house guests with Club Lounge access are welcome to visit anytime during opening hours.

From September 21 to 28, a selection of special privileges and events.
