Holiday Lodge: A Festive Lounge Pops-Up at Four Seasons Hotel St. Louis

New this season, guests can immerse themselves in the cozy Holiday Lodge, a festive lounge decked out to imbue the warm glow of a snowy mountain retreat at Four Seasons Hotel St. Louis.  A forest of twinkling trees makes a picture-perfect backdrop while boughs of merry trimmings make things bright. Adding to the enchanting immersive experience is a holiday playlist curated by sound agency Bellosound while classic holiday scenes play on two floor-to-ceiling screens. Rustic accents and pillows tossed on plush seating create the perfect setting to sip, nosh and catch the spirit of the season.

Guests can tuck in and indulge in a festive menu featuring a selection of Insta-worthy holiday cocktails and deliciously shareable nibbles. Choices include sipping a cranberry Merry Martini served in a glistening ornament, or a Polar Express, a creamy peppermint drink served in a candy cane-striped glass hand-painted with white chocolate. The camera-ready Buddy’s Beers looks like a flight of four tiny beers, but each of the mini mugs actually contain a different liqueur topped with heavy cream foam, including Chocolate Liqueur, Baileys Irish Cream, Licor 43, and Kahlua.

Other options include Hearthside Honey, a cold take on a hot toddy featuring Balvenie 12 Year topped with lemon caviar pearls, and two classics – Gingerbread Milk Punch served with cookies, and Aged Egg Nog.  For an alcohol-free choice, there is house-made Hot Chocolate and Caramel Apple Cider. Complimenting a full list of cocktails and beverages is a menu of small bites inspired by the season.  Choices include a Holiday Cheese Ball, Mortadella & Olive Skewers, and Pork Belly Skewers for snacking, a Roasted Grape Tartine and Chef’s Flatbread for slightly heartier fare.  For those looking for a sweet ending, a scoop House-Made Peppermint Ice Cream is served with a white chocolate snowflake.

Located on the Hotel’s eighth floor, Holiday Lodge is open daily from 4:00 to 11:00 pm.  Drink prices range from USD 18 to 38, and dishes from USD 7 to 24.  Reservations are strongly encouraged and can be made on OpenTable.
