Four Seasons Resort and Residences at The Pearl-Qatar, a glamorous beachfront oasis located at The Pearl Island, recently marked its launch with a stunning event featuring a series of captivating illustrations and animated videos on April 27, 2024. The well-received event featured a host of activations, including a Q&A session with Clym Evernden, a thematic afternoon tea, live art demonstrations, and an art workshop hosted by the talented artist on April 28, 2024.

The event was hosted at the Pearl Lounge, where the Q&A session also took place, allowing attendees to gain insights into Clym’s artistic process, inspirations, and the remarkable stories behind his creations. Attendees also enjoyed a live painting session by Clym portraying Doha’s skyline and got the chance to view his illustrations on glass windows and his video animations on large screens. The event concluded with a thematic afternoon tea, where attendees received gift bags adorned with Clym’s artwork.

This captivating collaboration between Four Seasons at The Pearl-Qatar and Clym was to showcase the property’s vibrant energy and glamourous living experience through visual storytelling. Clym, an award-winning artist and art director, infused different art styles to create a mesmerising narrative that captures the essence of the property's distinct features.

Clym created four striking illustrations, which depicted the property from different angles, focusing on its Glamorous Apartments, Culinary Destination La Méditerranée Robuchon, Pristine Private Beach, and The Pearl Island. To create the video animations, Clym utilised real objects from the property, including room key cards and restaurant menus, among other items, resulting in a visually stunning experience that brought the Resort to life on digital screens.

The collaboration extended until April 28 as Clym hosted an insightful workshop at The Pearl Lounge, engaging a group of aspiring artists and students. The session began with discussions on various topics of contemporary art, seamlessly transitioning into a collaborative workshop led by Clym. Participants were guided by the artist to create paintings on Four Seasons paper bags, fostering a dynamic exchange of creativity. Clym then personalised each bag with a sketch, resulting in a unique artwork on every bag that combined the participants’ contributions with Clym's artistic touch. Top of Form

Four Seasons at The Pearl-Qatar will continue this celebration of art and creativity throughout May with a daily enchanting afternoon tea. Inspired by Clym’s illustrations, guests are invited to savour a palette of flavours and artistic elegance, where every sip and bite transforms into a masterpiece. Since its opening in November 2023, Four Seasons at The Pearl-Qatar has always embraced the artistic legacy of Doha. The property is now home to a range of exquisite artworks, including contemporary paintings from local Qatari artists. Clym Evernden

Clym Evernden is an award-winning artist and art director with a unique creative eye, named by The Evening Standard as one of “London’s most influential people.” His signature ink-based style encompasses illustration, mixed media, creative video, and set design. A graduate of Central Saint Martins, Clym studied Fashion Design prior to working solely as an artist. Clym works with a growing number of luxury brands - his creations instantly present a narrative and brand’s DNA to the viewer with effortless clarity, making him an in demand and indispensable collaborator.

Clym’s work has included the launch of Hudson Yards New York producing murals, creative marketing videos and onsite billboards, and redesigning the famous Acqua di Parma bottle and packaging to create their first ever “Artist Edition” fragrance. Clym recently created a holiday campaign for David Yurman New York, painted a unique series of murals for Rolls-Royce at Goodwood, and designed the iconic Liberty London Beauty Advent Calendar. His signature style has become a recognisable, stand out design feature for luxury brands across the globe.

Clym enjoys a large audience @clymdraws Instagram and TikTok, and creates ingenious posts such as his creative videos for his followers. Clym’s reel The Snowball has received more than 2 million views. Clym is an internationally respected personality, and has starred in campaigns for Maison Margiela, Giorgio Armani, and interviewed for BBC World. Clym is signed with SUPA Model Management in addition to his primary profession as an artist.
