Newly reopened as a contemporary manor, the Hotel introduces seasonal culinary experiences inspired by the flavours that define a Tokyo summer. From astonishingly sweet Miyazaki mangoes, prized local harvests lead the showcase, becoming a part of summer’s ritual. At the heart of the seasonal offering is a fruit-forward Afternoon Tea series at MAISON MARUNOUCHI, where views of the city skyline and Tokyo Station set the scene for refined summer moments.
Miyazaki Mango Afternoon Tea
Japan’s most treasured mango takes centre stage in the midsummer Miyazaki Mango Afternoon Tea. Nurtured to peak ripeness in sun-drenched southern Japan, Miyazaki mangoes are renowned for their remarkable sweetness, smooth texture and honeyed aroma. The fruit’s exceptional character shines through an exquisite selection of sweets and savouries, crafted with carefully chosen mangoes.
Opening with a refreshing beverage that layers mango, orange and lemon with sparkling soda, the seasonal ensemble welcomes guests to discover the Miyazaki mango’s versatility through signature creations, including:
- Vanilla Panna Cotta with Miyazaki Mango Jelly – silky panna cotta enveloped in glossy mango jelly and finished with fresh mango
- Miyazaki Mango Ice Candy – a playful treat crafted with 100 percent Miyazaki mango sorbet and a hint of Espelette pepper
- Miyazaki Mango Shortcake – ripe mango nestled between tender sponge cake and light vanilla Chantilly cream, crowned with edible flowers
- Lobster Tart with Mango Salsa – succulent butter-poached lobster, lifted by the bright, fruity notes of mango salsa
