Introducing Chef Ahmed Al-Zoghbi: The Heart and Heritage of Lebanese Cuisine

Originally from Southern Lebanon, Chef Ahmed Al-Zoghbi brings his lifelong devotion to Lebanese culinary arts from Aura Restaurant, Four Seasons Hotel Cairo at The First Residence, where he is renowned for his refined modern interpretations of traditional recipes.

Inspired by his family’s kitchen, he blends authentic flavours with fresh, locally sourced ingredients to create dishes that evoke the generosity, warmth, and vibrant spirit of Lebanon.

“I believe the soul of Lebanese cuisine lies not just in the recipes, but in the stories they tell and the connections they create,” shares Chef Ahmed. “It’s about bringing people together, celebrating heritage, and sharing the richness of our land through every dish.”

An Invitation to the Heart of Lebanon

For one week, Chef Ahmed Al-Zoghbi will take over dinner service at BLU Seafood Kitchen & Bar, where each evening will be brought to life with festive touches inspired by Lebanese culture.

Guests can expect an exquisite menu showcasing Lebanon’s vibrant mezzes, herbaceous salads, fragrant spices, and expertly grilled meats. Signature dishes feature fresh tabbouleh and fattoush, slow-cooked stews, and artisanal bread. Each plate is crafted to evoke the generosity and warmth synonymous with Lebanese hospitality.

As an additional culinary experience, two exclusive Sunday brunches on June 22 and 29 at Azur Restaurant will feature Chef Ahmed, who will be bringing his special touch to the table.
