Originally from Fort Myers, Florida, Anna Folaros studied Business with a focus in Marketing and Hospitality at Florida State University. Her career began with Hyatt Hotels in New Orleans, where she played a key role in opening a 1,300-room property post-Hurricane Katrina, connected to the iconic Superdome. This foundational experience gave her deep operational insight across departments including Housekeeping, Stewarding, Banquets, and Front Office.

Anna went on to open the Reserve Whisky Bar at Morgan’s Hotel in New York City—Ian Schrager’s first boutique hotel—and later helped launch the Park Hyatt New York City, which earned a Forbes 5-Star rating in its first year. Her experience expanded further in the Bahamas, where she oversaw 24 restaurants and bars, including the opening of Marcus for celebrity chef Marcus Samuelsson. Most recently, Anna led the reopening of Park Hyatt Chicago following a USD 60 million renovation, serving as Director of Operations.

In 2024, she relocated to Vail with her husband Rodrigo, and the couple were married in their favourite city of San Miguel de Allende, Mexico. Both are passionate foodies and love the outdoor lifestyle.
