Four Seasons Hotel Washington, DC, the city’s only Forbes 5-star rated hotel, announces the appointment of Sajish Kumar Das as its new Executive Chef. Bringing more than two decades of global culinary and hospitality experience, Chef Das will enrich the property’s dining experience with his refined expertise and leadership.
Most recently, Chef Das joins the team from Four Seasons Resort and Residences Whistler, where he has served since 2019, most recently as Executive Chef following nearly four years as Executive Sous Chef.

Cultivating a passion for cooking from an early age, Chef Sajish has transformed that passion into a distinguished career spanning India, the United Arab Emirates, Oman, Qatar, and Canada. He has honed his skills at renowned luxury properties including Taj, Grand Hyatt, The Ritz-Carlton, and Four Seasons.
Internationally recognized for his comprehensive culinary knowledge and contemporary flair, he has expertly managed full-service kitchens and banquet facilities, crafted innovative menus for lunch, dinner, and dessert, and delivered memorable dining experiences. His leadership is marked by a balance of innovation and authenticity.
Describing himself as “obsessed with cooking,” Chef Sajish is constantly exploring new recipes, techniques, and flavours. Outside of the kitchen, he is a former award-winning football player in India and a talented former drummer. He enjoys spending time discovering new dining experiences with his wife, Carol, and their two sons, Aidan and Eli. His deep curiosity and passion for food and exploration continue to inspire his work.
