Coin & Candor Inside Four Seasons Hotel Westlake Village Presents Three Ways to Indulge This Thanksgiving Holiday

Coin & Candor, the award-winning California brasserie inside Four Seasons Hotel Westlake Village, invites guests to an ingredient-driven Thanksgiving celebration surrounded by the picturesque views of the Santa Monica Mountains on Thursday, November 23, 2023 from 12:00 noon to 10:00 pm.  

Three Course Thanksgiving Menu 

Guests of Coin & Candor will embark on a flavourful adventure with Chef Jesus Medina’s main menu, where each dish is a testament to the season's rich bounty. The culinary journey commences with savoury corn fritters, adorned with osetra caviar, smoked maple syrup, and a touch of Manchego cheese. Transitioning into the heart of the feast, the butternut squash ravioli blends ricotta, black truffle, brown butter, and sage to add layers of indulgence.

As the evening unfurls, the centrepiece of the celebration emerges with the organic roasted turkey breast. This classic dish is given a modern flair with chicken apple sausage stuffing roulade, paired alongside smooth mashed potato and haricot vert, and brought together with the tart sweetness of cranberry chutney and a ladle of rich gravy. The sweet closure to the meal beckons with choices aplenty - the traditional pumpkin pie, a rich chocolate lava, a nutty bourbon pecan tart, or a heartwarming apple cobbler. (USD 118 per person, plus taxes and gratuities).  

Three Course Vegan Thanksgiving Menu 

Vegan guests of Coin & Candor are in for a treat with a menu crafted to evoke a sense of gratitude. There’s a vegan version of corn fritters, enhanced with smoked maple syrup, cashew cream, chives, and basil, or savour the simplicity of Coin & Candor’s house-made red fife sourdough bread, drizzled with olive oil and sprinkled with sea salt. The first course offers a choice between roasted beets, spaghetti squash, or endives, each carrying a unique flavour profile. The entree unfolds with a fresh honey nut squash or a hearty cauliflower steak, leading to a sweet ending with Chef Patrick Fahy’s apple cobbler adorned with chestnut chips and a scoop of black truffle ice cream. (USD 82 per person, plus taxes and gratuities).  

Kids' Thanksgiving Menu 

For the young diners at the table, Coin & Candor has curated a memorable menu, starting with a beloved mac n’ cheese topped with toasted breadcrumbs and parmesan. The entree features organic roasted turkey breast and dark meat, leading to a delightful dessert of brownie sundae packed with fudge brownies, vanilla ice cream, and whipped cream. The A La Carte menu is designed for those with a refined palate, offering choices such as PB & J, Grilled Cheese, Vegetables with Ranch, Ham & Cheese Sandwich, Mac N’ Cheese, or Penne Pasta.
