Four Seasons Hotel Westlake Village Unveils Debut Exhibition Featuring Legendary Graffiti Artist Risk

Four Seasons Hotel Westlake Village announces the debut of its newest art gallery exhibition featuring the internationally acclaimed graffiti pioneer, RISK.The exhibition opens November 2025 and will be on display inside the hotel’s Art Gallery. 

With a storied career spanning 38 years, RISK has played a pivotal role in elevating graffiti from the streets of Los Angeles to global recognition as a legitimate and celebrated art form. Known for his fearless creativity and innovative techniques, RISK helped redefine urban art by painting on unconventional surfaces, from freight trains and buses to towering freeway overpasses, famously dubbed; the heavens.

"RISK is a true visionary whose work has shaped not only the aesthetics of contemporary graffiti, but also the cultural conversations surrounding it," says David Wilkie, General Manager of Four Seasons Hotel Westlake Village. In addition to his groundbreaking artwork, RISK is a philanthropist committed to youth engagement and environmental causes worldwide. His influence stretches beyond the canvas, having founded Third Rail, the first authentic streetwear brand to merge the worlds of skateboarding and hip-hop culture. 

His work has been displayed in prestigious venues, including the Museum of Contemporary Art Los Angeles, and most recently in Beyond the Streets China, where he created one of the exhibition’s largest and most captivating installations. The exhibition at Four Seasons Hotel Westlake Village will highlight RISK’s signature blend of traditional letterform, deconstruction, and layered colour theory, offering viewers a chance to experience the depth and detail that has defined his illustrious career.
