Spring 2023 Brings New Dining Experiences at Four Seasons Resort and Residences Whistler
Spring is a time of rejuvenation and renewal, and Four Seasons Resort and Residences Whistler is celebrating with fresh new dining experiences.
The recently renovated luxury Resort’s fresh In-Room Dining menu offers dishes to delight all tastes while guests relax in the sumptuous comfort of their suite. Executive Chef Sajish Kumar Das and team’s Wild Mushroom Risotto combines the rich earthy flavour of fungi with the nuttiness of arborio rice and dreamy creaminess of Parmigiano. Butter Chicken, also known as Murgh Makhani, consists of succulent bite-sized pieces of Fraser Valley chicken simmered in a yogurt marinade infused with fresh spices and served with warm naan. A sizzlingly delicious Chorizo Skillet is among the menu’s other new gems, complementing guest favourites such as Breakfast Tower for Two, Buttermilk Fried Chicken and Waffles, Charcuterie Board with cured BC meats, and Niçoise Salad.
Beginning April 4, 2023 at Braidwood Tavern is the new We Got Game menu. Lean and deeply flavourful sustainable game meats take centre-stage in the cozy mountain cabin-style lounge. Hungry diners have several tantalizing options to choose from: lightly spiced pan-seared Venison Rack with herby, tangy chimichurri; dry-aged Elk Chops grilled to perfection with apple and red wine glaze; red wine-stewed Bison Short Rib served with root vegetables and truffle-mushroom dip; or Lamb Shanks braised for 36 hours and served with classic mint. A choice of two accompaniments includes crispy Onion Rings, Garlic Potato Purée, bright Steamed Broccoli, and crunchy Fried Pickles. The stellar meal starts off with Chefs’ Style Garden Chop Salad dressed with a zesty red-wine vinaigrette. We Got Game seasonal menu, CAD 95 per person, is available from 4:00 to 9:00 pm.
An egg-cellent Easter is on the books at Braidwood Tavern, with the Resort’s Easter Brunch menu being served on April 9, 2023 from 12:00 noon to 4:00 pm.
The Easter Bunny will be making a special visit for an Egg Hunt. There’s live music, and Braidwood’s host with the most, Uncle Bruce, will have poured everyone a beverage: the celebratory feast includes a glass of bubbly.
An extensive buffet includes a Sashimi and Ceviche Station and a Risotto Station; Cheese and Charcuterie selections with traditional condiments; and a Carving Station with decadent dishes such as 24-Hour Slow Smoked Brisket, Roasted Striploin, Salmon Wellington, Whole Roasted Pork, and more, all with seasonal accompaniments. There will be a gorgeous chocolate display in Bunny Land and a beautiful array of fresh fruit. The Ice Bar features fresh seafood such as BC poached spot prawns, Argentinian prawns, snow crab, freshly shucked local oysters, and marinated octopus. Mains on offer include Chicken Casserole, Duck with Herb Butter, Seafood Paella, Beef Curry with Pemberton Potatoes, and Seared Halibut with Mussels and Clam Chowder Cream. A Soup and Salad Station as well as an abundant Bunny’s Garden of brunch classics and indulgences are just some of the other enticing options.
The place will be hopping, with a saxophone player and DJ. Braidwood’s Easter Brunch is CAD 110 per person (includes a glass of bubbly); CAD 60 for children aged 5 to 12; and CAD 25 for children under 5.
