The Quintessential Start to a Winter Adventure: Four Seasons Resort and Residences Whistler Ski Concierge Experience

January 18, 2024,
Whistler, Canada

Four Seasons Resort and Residences Whistler presents its newly refreshed Ski Concierge this season. The exclusive space and service offers guests an unforgettable journey through the mountains, with insider knowledge on the best runs, adjusted equipment to meet mountain conditions and a key focus on keeping skiers’ spirits high.

The journey begins with the pre-arrival experience, with the Resort’s concierge on hand to assist with booking private lessons, heli-skiing adventures, and more - tailoring the mountain experience to meet the unique needs of each guest. Upon arrival, guests can head straight to the Whistler Blackcomb Mountain Store, conveniently located in the Resort’s lower lobby. The attentive staff are prepped to assist with fittings, providing all necessary gear, including an impressive range of outerwear and top-of-the-line ski equipment adjusted to guests' preferences and skill levels. Once this process is complete, skis and boots are seamlessly transported to the Ski Concierge (located just steps from the gondola, at the base of Blackcomb Mountain) where the real adventure begins. Guests can enjoy a short walk from the Resort, or a complimentary three-minute shuttle that departs on a regular basis. With a dedicated and knowledgeable team, Four Seasons Resort and Residences Whistler ensures guests’ equipment is finely tuned for optimal use and ready to meet mountain conditions.

At Ski Concierge, guests are greeted at the door, with the ski valets on hand to open lockers, pull out boots – which are dried overnight and heated for use – and help guests ready themselves for the excitement that awaits. The lively hub offers coffee and pastries from 8:00 to 10:00 am, ensuring a sweet and cozy start to the morning prior to upload. Experienced valets will readily impart tips on runs, lift lines and conditions so guests can truly embrace living like a local, and most importantly, the best spots for après. As guests carve their way through the alpine, the team remains on hand throughout the day, providing any necessary support or assistance to ensure the experience is unforgettable.

When the day draws to a close, guests will find the Ski Concierge waiting at the base of both mountains to collect their skis, with the introduction of a new tent at the base of Whistler Mountain, open from 1:30 to 4:00 pm. Like a hug from inside, hot chocolate is available as guests change into their comfy shoes, offering a warm end to time spent in the mountains.

The Ski Concierge team is ready to secure and store all equipment, ensuring it’s dried, heated and primed for tomorrow’s adventure.
