This winter, Whistler’s most refined whisky experience returns as Four Seasons Resort and Residences Whistler reopens The Library by The Macallan for its third season. Guests are invited to embark on a journey through whisky artistry, celebrating more than two centuries of craftsmanship. The experience showcases a curated selection of The Macallan’s finest expressions, all framed by Whistler’s breathtaking winter wonderland.

Upon its return, The Library introduces unique new elements designed to elevate this beloved alpine tradition.

Guests can explore The Macallan’s iconic collections, from the Double Cask and Sherry Oak to the rare M Collection, each revealing a story of natural colour, character, and depth. Limited editions, including the coveted Rare Cask and the newest addition, A Night on Earth, offer a journey of flavour and craftsmanship.

Created as a tribute to global traditions of celebration, the A Night on Earth series captures the essence of festive moments shared around the world. Complementing the whisky selection is a menu of innovative cocktails that reinterpret The Library’s character in unexpected ways.

• Aurora – A radiant blend of The Macallan Double Cask 12 Years Old, pear, spiced lime, and cacao.
• Cloud Atlas – Velvet and spiced, featuring The Macallan Sherry Oak 12 Years Old, rosé vermouth, tarragon honey, and sherry oak foam.
• The Reid One – Vibrant and bittersweet, combining The Macallan Double Cask 12 Years Old with rhubarb, sweet vermouth, and plum.
• Resonance – Sparkling and rich, with notes of stone fruit and honey blossom, crafted from The Macallan Double Cask 12 Years Old, plum, honey, and verjus blanc.

Introducing The Library Lockers

This season, The Library unveils an exclusive offering for whisky enthusiasts: The Library Lockers. Guests can reserve a personal locker to store bottles purchased on-property, ensuring their favourite expressions are always waiting, perfectly preserved, and ready to enjoy upon their return.   Fusing luxury with convenience, The Library Lockers imbue a personal connection to the space while making every visit feel like coming home to a curated whisky collection.

A Refined Escape

The Library has been reimagined as a warm, elegant haven, where rich red and gold accents infuse the space with refined charm. Anchored by its signature open fireplace, the space offers intimate seating and bespoke bar details for a refined après-ski retreat. Guests can pair rare pours with light bites or enjoy carefully crafted zero-proof creations, ensuring every palate is catered to.
