Four Seasons Resort and Residences Whistler, located in pristine Canadian wilderness, was called upon by a rather curious visitor. Below is Marshmallow’s tale:

In the heart of the forest, just a few steps from town,

Stood Four Seasons Whistler, a resort well renowned.

Nearby lived a bear, who adored all things sweet,

But it was mostly marshmallows that he loved to eat.

Climbing the tallest tree, he leaned, and he looked,

Hoping to see marshmallows – this bear was hooked.

Instead, a hotel, beautifully lit,

"Marshmallows are there," he thought, with a fit.

So down he climbed, and onward he went,

Through forests and lakes, his spirit unbent.

The mountains were towering, the snow pure and white,

Reminded him of his marshmallow delight.

Past people with suitcases, smiles so grand,

Laughter and joy, a welcoming land.

“Where is the hotel?” asked the bear, so polite.

“Round the next corner – just follow the light.”

The bear tipped his hat, and continued his way.

The sun went to sleep, and the night replaced day.

"It's late," he thought, "I should rest, I suppose,"

But his tummy rumbled, so onward he goes.

Around the corner, his eyes opened wide,

The hotel was magnificent, stars lit his guide.

"Four Seasons Resort," read the sign so fair,

"Home of Marshmallows," thought the bear.

Through grand doors, the bear softly stepped,

The lobby was quiet, everyone slept.

He sniffed the air once, twice, then three,

“No marshmallows,” thought the bear, “just dreams sweet as could be.”

"Silly me," he yawned, "time for my bed,

To dream of sweet treats as I rest my head."

Morning came, paw prints on floor,

Staff knew a bear had come through the door.

On camera, they watched his gentle quest,

Sniffing for treats, as their special guest.

The marshmallows had been tucked safely away,

Out of reach of paws, where they couldn't stray.

In honour of the visitor, they named him Marshmallow,

And legends were told of this sweet furry fellow.

To this day, he roams the mountains wide,

In search of treats, with a gentle stride.

Reminding all of the balance we hold,

Between humans and wildlife, a story retold,

In the beautiful mountains, both wild and free,

Where Marshmallow's spirit forever will be.
