World-renowned international chefs with strong stories, industry experts and international press come together in Cairo, Egypt to experience the extraordinary history and culture of the Egyptian Table during Cairo Food Week in an inspiring atmosphere of cultural exploration will connect and collaborate with Cairo's leading talents across the culinary and hospitality landscapes.

From May 9 to 16, 2024, an exciting extended calendar unfolds with culinary events, talks, exhibitions, screenings, and activities spanning Cairo’s most prominent lifestyle districts and cultural venues. More than 40 events are planned throughout the week, with more than 20 of the world’s most celebrated chefs as well as luminaries and rising stars from Egypt and the wider MENA Region.

Supporting and encouraging the development of the industry, Four Seasons Hotel Cairo at Nile Plaza is proud to be one of the hospitality partners with Cairo Food Week, taking on a stronger presence within the culinary calendar.

On May 12, 2024, Four Seasons Hotel Cairo at Nile Plaza hosts the first official Cairo Food Week Press Conference, followed by a special collaboration dinner with guest Chef Riccardo Forapani and hosted by Hotel Executive Chef Benat Alonso and Chef de Cuisine Stefano Maffioli Ferrari at Riviera restaurant. The extravagant seven-course menu, which has also been sourced from local organic products, is preceded by a cocktail reception, allowing guests to whet their appetites and take in the panoramic views of the Nile River.

The menu includes specialties such as: Crème Caramel al Parmigiano Reggiano, a 36-month aged Parmigiano Reggiano flan, roasted onion and Villa Manodori traditional balsamic vinegar; Mediterranean Yellow Tail with Latxa fig leaf and almond cold broth, lacto muscat grapes, and Maadi spring pickled capers; Vongole e Filetto, a chargrilled aged beef fillet, Telline clams, smoked celeriac, Alexandrian sea fennel and duck liver; Mahalabeya, 100 percent cocoa and black garlic, pistachio, orange blossom, and pasta frita; Fiori rosa, Fiori di pesco, a babà with basil cream, peach, elderberry jelly and edible flowers.
