Four Seasons Resort Peninsula Papagayo, Costa Rica announces the grand opening of its latest culinary venture, Virador Beach Club. Nestled in the award-winning beach of its namesake, this new establishment promises a unique and unforgettable dining experience inspired by the beauty of natural surroundings and Eastern Mediterranean flavours. Virador Beach Club Eatery & Lounge embodies barefoot luxury, offering a laid-back ambiance and effortless service.

“We’ve created a new energy and vibe within the Resort with Virador Beach Club,” says Ian-Robert Ciappara, General Manager. “The natural beauty of Virador Beach, along with a mouthwatering menu and intuitive service, encapsulate the essence of an elevated beach club experience.”

The menu offers local ingredients and Eastern Mediterranean flavours with freshly prepared authentic breads such as kumaj and Jerusalem bagel, setting the foundation for a convivial experience. The atmosphere is both relaxed and elevated, with meals served family-style accompanied by signature pitchers, cocktails, and bottle service.

“The flavours are authentic Eastern Mediterranean, and the recipes are from my family’s cookbooks,” says Chef Khaled Natour, Virador Beach Club Chef. “These dishes represent my culture and my roots. I love to show Costa Rica and Four Seasons the authentic flavours of my homeland, Haifa Israel.”

Lunch service is uncomplicated with a variety of gyro options including falafel, shawarma, Milanese, fish, and beef, wrapped in pita bread with vegetable,s tzatziki sauce, and hand cut Greek fries. Dinner is elevated with a Mezze Platter of dips such as tzatziki, hummus, baba ghanoush, served with kumaj bread.

Refreshing cocktails can be enjoyed either by the glass or in pitchers. Don’t miss a tropical rendition of the White Sangria, made with peach, mango, and strawberries, while the Spritz is the perfect blend of lemon-infused elderflower, coconut water, topped off with prosecco.

Mexico City-based fashion designer Kris Goyri was selected to design a limited-edition employee wardrobe. Goyri balances style and sensuality, displayed in intricate designs reflecting traditional and modern elements. The collection reflects the natural colours of a Costa Rican sunset, with warm lilacs, touches of orange in breathable linen. Goyri spent time in Costa Rica and was inspired by the natural beauty and biodiversity. 

Within Virador Beach Club, guests can indulge at The Cabanas, an adult only pool with infinity edge views of the Pacific Ocean. Strategically positioned among lush foliage, these secluded retreats offer maximum privacy, allowing guests to unwind and soak up the coastal ambiance undisturbed.

The Eatery & Lounge is open from 11:00 am to 10:00 pm; The Cabanas at Virador Beach Club are open from 8:00 am to 6:00 pm; La Playa is open from 11:00 am to 6:00 pm.
