Spring has arrived, nature is sharing her full beauty and it is a time to become more familiar with our creative side. In cooperation with local artist Lucie Crocro, Four Seasons Hotel Prague has created a unique art lesson for women. Hotel guests will have the opportunity to become exposed to the world of painting in the beautiful Prague Botanical Garden.

The subject and aim of the Women and Flowers course is to compare the energy and shapes of the female body and flowers. Participants will have the opportunity to identify their individual attitude, and under the creative guidance of Lucie, learn to work with a model.

“First I want to give the participants a basic understanding of how to work with light, shadows and lines using charcoal, pencil, pastel and watercolours," says Lucie, who studied at the Royal College of Art in London and the Academy of Fine Arts in Prague. "The model will be posing in the garden, surrounded by flowers from different continents. I find this environment very interesting and inspirational. The lesson was created for women as a way of self-discovery through the painting of the model. ”

Lessons are scheduled based on bookings and access to the Botanical Garden. Each lesson includes a three-hour painting session with a model and flowers, painting equipment and transfers to and from the Garden. The cost of the lesson is EUR 600.00 for up to two persons, and can be booked through the Hotel concierge.
