Four Seasons Hotel Prague reveals four projects that deepen its support for local artists. The Hotel is launching its first signature candle collection, called Prague Potion, a new seasonal menu at CottoCrudo restaurant combining the best local ingredients with Italian gastronomy, a new Hotel decor concept under the direction of floral designer Ivan Šablatura, and an expanded creative collaboration with artist Petra McGrath.

Bring the Scent of Four Seasons Home

The limited edition collection of candles in three designs embodies the experience from Four Seasons Hotel Prague by combining traditional Czech art and local craftsmanship with modern design. The inspiration for the candle collection was the interior fragrance Eternal Beauty, which the Hotel launched last year to celebrate its 20th anniversary.

Pure powdery notes, iris, violet, rose, birch, oak and sandalwood stand out thanks to the use of natural wax with a high percentage of essential oils.

Drawing from Prague's renowned 20th-century Cubist architecture, characterized by geometric simplicity, the Prague Potion collection honours Czech architectural heritage. As a testament to its significance, Prague is globally recognized as a hub for Cubist architecture, a legacy the team at Four Seasons Hotel Prague is proud to commemorate.

Created for the Hotel by Czech porcelain manufacture Goldfinger, the candles' cubist design showcases a unique white and dark green colour palette, referencing the property and the new visual identity of Four Seasons as a brand.

The limited collection of Prague Potion candles is available in two sizes, three designs and only at Four Seasons Hotel Prague. The 235 gram candle burns for around 25 hours, while the 380 gram version lasts about 40 hours. Each is presented in a bespoke Four Seasons box, with prices starting at CZK 2300.

Symphony of Autumn Shades on the New Menu of CottoCrudo restaurant

With the arrival of the autumn colour palette, the menu of CottoCrudo restaurant is changing. The restaurant team combines local ingredients with Italian culinary art, which is further enriched by an unparalleled view of the Prague skyline.

Guests can enjoy dishes such as chestnut pappardelle or duck breast with fermented apricot from the new à la carte and tasting menus. Furthermore, the team is fulfilling the wishes of its guests by expanding the offer of vegetarian dishes to include pumpkin and beetroot with goat's cheese.

Pastry Chef Giovanni Marco Carandino and his team have crafted together their own colourful story, led by red "Snow White Apple" with vanilla cream and tonka bean sorbet, and walnut cheesecake with crunchy honeycomb and nutmeg pumpkin sorbet.

The Magic of Flowers and Art at Four Seasons Hotel Prague

Another of the Hotel's new features is the collaboration with floral designer Ivan Šablatura, known for his elegant and unusual floral arrangements. The highly sought-after florist will be in charge of the lobby display and decoration of rooms and event spaces. His creative direction is set to bring a new and refreshed look to Four Seasons Hotel Prague.

Last but not least, in response to the success of local painter Petra McGrath’s pop up sales exhibition at the restaurant and lobby, the Hotel is expanding its collaboration with the artist. For the Hotel’s collateral materials, McGrath has depicted the most famous local landmarks including Prague Castle, Charles Bridge, Vltava River and the Petřín Lookout Tower, which will greet guests on their arrival.
