With than two decades of experience at Four Seasons Resort Punta Mita, Chef Martín Flores is one of the most experienced members of the Resort’s culinary team. Throughout his time at the Resort, he has worked at Quetzi (now Dos Catrinas) and Chino Latino (now Aramara), as well as with the catering team. Today, Chef Martín leads the kitchen at Aramara, delighting guests with spectacular Asian flavours. Chef Martín and his team also curate exciting seasonal pop-ups, including dinners focused on specialties such as ramen and omakase.

One of Chef Martín’s greatest joys is working with the local community, which has led him to cook for shelters and homes for the elderly. In 2015, he won the prestigious Thierry Blouet contest, a competition for local chefs across Puerto Vallarta. For Chef Martín, the biggest lesson he has learned in his life was during the pandemic, when hospitality jobs were at risk. Today, he feels a deep gratitude to be back in the kitchen.
