From the Beach to the City, Mexican Chef de Cuisine Jorge Ariko, from Four Seasons Resort Sharm El Sheikh, Invites Guests on a Journey through Mexico at Four Seasons Hotel Amman

Four Seasons Hotel Amman announces that Jorge Ariko, Chef de Cuisine at Luna Restaurant located at Four Seasons Resort Sharm El Sheikh, is coming to Amman, Jordan to present his inventive Mexican menu at FIVE Grill & Lounge, a chic summer terrace located at Four Seasons Hotel Amman, from June 17 until 30, 2025.

Guests of Four Seasons Hotel Amman can look forward a culinary journey through Mexico with innovative flavours at the hands of Chef Jorge. Some of the dishes include tableside guacamole made fresh, a variety of ceviche from seabream to salmon, an assortment of tacos and empanadas, plus a selection of mouthwatering dishes straight from the grill. Leave some room for Chef Jorges Mexican-inspired desserts such as warm banana bread pudding and frozen mud pie.

“From the shores of the Red Sea to urban life in Amman, I am excited to present my inventive and flavourful Mexican cuisine to guests of Four Seasons Hotel Amman. The chic décor of FIVE Grill & Lounge will perfectly complement the delicious menu that will be presented for two weeks,” says Chef Jorge.

He adds, “What I love most about this career is its ability to connect people through food, giving me the chance to travel, meet new cultures, and form lasting friendships. But more than that, cooking allows me to be an ambassador for my Mexican heritage. With each dish I create, I have the privilege of taking people on a journey to my country, without them ever needing to board a flight.”

Jorge Ariko was born in Tampico, a vibrant city on the shores of the Gulf of Mexico. Growing up in a family that cherished food, he developed a deep love for the kitchen from a young age. By the age of 15, he was working as a server at a family friend's restaurant. It was there that his passion for cooking truly began to flourish. He has worked at various Four Seasons properties in the region including Doha, Qatar; Kuwait and currently in Sharm El Sheikh, Egypt.
