Till Klauss Appointed as General Manager of Four Seasons Hotel Amman

Four Seasons Hotel Amman announces that Till Klauss has been appointed as General Manager of the luxurious 192-room hotel in Amman, which provides the ideal home base to discover the wonders of Jordan while exploring the top things to do and places to see.

Till states, “I am very excited to be in Jordan—it feels very familiar to me and the local hospitality I have experienced is one of a kind.”

Originally from Munich, Germany, Till grew up in Nairobi, Kenya, where his love for travel and discovery sparked. He went on to study at the Swiss Hotel Management School (SHL) in Lucerne, earning a degree in Hospitality Management.

Till is celebrating more than 20 years with Four Seasons. His journey began at Four Seasons Hotel George V, Paris, where he completed a food and beverage internship.  He then officially joined Four Seasons in 2005, straight out of university, as Assistant Chief Steward at Four Seasons Hotel Hampshire.

He soon progressed through leadership roles across restaurant operations, in-room dining, and banqueting, before transferring to Damascus, Syria as Assistant Director of Food and Beverage.  From there, Till’s Four Seasons path took him to Prague on task force for the opening of CottoCrudo, followed by the opening of the new Toronto flagship in 2011, before taking on his first Director of Food and Beverage role at Punta Mita, Mexico.

Till was then promoted to Hotel Manager at Four Seasons Hotel Alexandria, where he spent four years and then took on the same role at Four Seasons Hotel Cairo at Nile Plaza for another four years, bringing him to Jordan for his first General Manager position.

He stated, “I never forget that we’re here for our guests. We are here to offer an inspiring experience for guests in Amman’s best-loved luxury hospitality address, while contributing to the authentic Jordanian hospitality that this hotel has been known for, for many years.”

Known for his humble and approachable leadership style and his ability to stay calm and grounded under pressure, Till is a highly respected leader who embodies Four Seasons values in every interaction with guests and employees alike.

Till enjoys spending time with his family, cooking, and discovering new places. He speaks German, English, Spanish, and some French. He is currently adding Arabic to his list of languages. Jordan is his 12th country of residence, moving with his wife Julia, their children Sophia and Leo, and their two dogs, Otto and Eddy.
