Four Seasons Astir Palace Hotel Athens Named Top Hotel in Greece

The Athens Riviera landmark of Four Seasons Astir Palace Hotel Athens has been named Best Hotel in Greece in the Condé Nast Traveler Readers’ Choice Awards 2023.

Topping the Greek table with an overall score of 98.44, the dazzling 30-hectare (75-acre) oceanside haven – renowned as being one of Jackie Onassis’ favourite hang-outs – amassed the country-leading score across a wide-ranging set of criteria including rooms, service, food, design, location, and activities/facilities - plus, this year, cleanliness, community, concierge, experience, safety, accessibility, and remote work.

More than half a million readers voted in this year’s Readers’ Choice survey, which highlights the world’s favourite hotels, cities, countries, spas and more based on the independent ratings of Condé Nast Traveler’s global readership.

The Condé Nast Traveler Readers’ Choice Awards caps off a glittering year of accolades for the dazzling  Four Seasons Astir Palace Hotel, located just a 30-minute drive from the centre of the Greek Capital. Earlier this year it became the first property in Athens to achieve a Forbes Five Star designation, before being named Best City Hotel in Athens in July’s Travel + Leisure’s World’s Best Awards 2023, and ranking #35 in September’s inaugural World’s 50 Best Hotels Awards.

Also relaunched in 2023, the Hotel’s stunning new destination bar, Avra, recently hosted its first Summer-Ever-After Party  - squeezing out the last drops of summer fun with guest bartenders from two of the World’s 50 Best Bars. And as the door close on the Hotel’s summer season, attention is now turning to its inaugural Riviera Masters Open Tennis Tournament – taking place on October 7-8, 2023 at the Hotel’s professional tennis facilities, launched a year ago in partnership with Tipsarevic Luxury Tennis.
