Four Seasons Hotel Atlanta Chefs Introduce Picnic in the Park

Curated culinary experience brings guests closer to the beauty of nearby Piedmont Park

What better way to celebrate summer than to indulge in a gourmet picnic, while overlooking the soaring architectural skyline of Midtown Atlanta? Four Seasons Hotel Atlanta, the AAA Five-Diamond urban getaway located in the charming neighbourhood of Midtown, introduces Picnic in the Park, an elevated experience in which guests can enjoy freshly created treats in scenic Piedmont Park.

The Ansley and Morningside Baskets

Executive Chef Gavin Pera, Banquet Chef Jonathan Hoefle and Executive Pastry Chef Daniella Lea Rada have hand selected quintessential picnic fare to include in special Four Seasons embossed baskets, which have been inspired by Atlanta's neighbourhoods. Each is made for two people and includes all the necessities for a day in the park: cutlery, plates, napkins, glasses and a Four Seasons monogrammed blanket.

The Ansley Basket includes a choice of fresh salads, savoury sandwiches, and house made chips; house made chocolate cookies; and bottled water for two. Add cheese and charcuterie and Bar Margot seasonal mocktails in the Morningside Basket for extra indulgence. Guests are encouraged to take the basket and signature Four Seasons blanket home, following their picnic experience.

Piedmont Park, located only minutes from Four Seasons Hotel Atlanta, can be reached by foot or by car. The Hotel’s house car is also an option for in-house guests.

Atlanta’s most iconic greenspace, the 211-acre (85 hectare) park is open year-round and perfect for a stroll through beautiful green space, surrounded by towering trees, and featuring a lake and multiple walking trails. Throughout the year, couples will enjoy a variety of outdoor music offerings, including the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra as well as art festivals, farmer’s markets and other activities.
