With more than two decades of Four Seasons experience spanning Asia, the Indian Ocean, and the Middle East, Cristina Purba brings a deep understanding of the luxury hospitality landscape to her role as Hotel Manager at Four Seasons Hotel Bangkok at Chao Phraya River.

Cristina began her hospitality journey in her native Indonesia before joining Four Seasons in 2001. Quickly recognised for her commercial expertise, calm leadership, and ability to inspire cross-cultural teams, she rose through the ranks, taking on increasingly senior roles. In 2007, she played a key role in the opening of Four Seasons Resort Koh Samui, followed by her appointment as Director of Marketing for Four Seasons Resorts Thailand, a pivotal moment in her career that also deepened her emotional connection to the country.

Her global perspective continued to grow with senior leadership roles in Mauritius and Seychelles, where she served as Senior Director of Marketing, before moving to Dubai in 2017. As Regional Commercial Director, she led commercial strategy across multiple properties in a highly dynamic market, earning recognition for her ability to drive results while nurturing a collaborative and high-performing team culture.

More than just a seasoned hotelier, Cristina is a leader who thrives on developing talent, building trust, and fostering a shared sense of purpose. Her strength lies in uniting people around a clear vision and creating spaces where individuals are empowered to grow. “It’s always about the people,” she says. “When we lead with care, everything else follows: team spirit, guest satisfaction, and long-term success.”

Now returned to Bangkok in an operational leadership role, Cristina brings her journey full circle. “This is more than a new role—it’s a return to a place that shaped me,” she shares. “What I value most is the opportunity to lead with heart, to empower our teams, and to create thoughtful, lasting experiences for our guests.”

With a sincere passion for service and a clear vision for the future, Cristina is guiding Four Seasons Hotel Bangkok into its next chapter: one grounded in innovation, connection, and the timeless spirit of genuine hospitality.
