“I am here to assist guests as needed, helping them stay healthy, so they can best enjoy their stay with us,” says Dr. Edouard Boniface, Resort Doctor at Four Seasons Resort Bora Bora. “Their focus should be on soaking up the beauty and culture of this beautiful destination.”
A native of Paris, France, Edouard was inspired to help people and make a difference. At the behest of his father, who encouraged him to pursue a career in medicine, he set off to fulfill his childhood dream.
During his formal medical education in France, he earned degrees in Antibiotic Therapy and Anti-Infective Treatments, Manual and Osteopathic Medicine, and Sports Medicine, while also serving on the faculty at University of Strasbourg. Dr. Boniface then travelled the world practicing medicine and gaining valuable experience throughout France, Reunion Island, Guadeloupe, New Caledonia, Martinique, and Wallis and Futuna.
An osteopath, Dr. Boniface joined Four Seasons Resort Bora Bora in 2023 as Resort Doctor. He speaks English and French, and enjoys kitesurfing, surfing, fishing, and fitness classes.
