- Purchasing program used to seek out food and products that are locally and regionally produced and include recycled materials, whenever possible

- Solar panels on guest rooms to heat water
- Solar panels (2,300 square metres or 24,750 square feet)) on Resort buildings to provide 20 percent of electrical power
- Bamboo and paper straws (no plastic)
- Refillable glass bath product containers (no disposable shampoo, conditioner, lotion bottles)
- Led by our marine biologist, the Lagoon Sanctuary is a research facility dedicated to preserving marine life through education of guests and interaction
- Fishing prohibited around Resort to conserve fish and corals
- Annual Cancer Walk benefiting local charity
- Annual Island Clean-Up Day
- Support local animal protection association
