Four Seasons Hotel Gresham Palace Budapest announces the appointment of Alejandro Lopez as Director of Food and Beverage. In this role, Lopez oversees the full culinary and beverage operations - including restaurants, bars, in‑room dining and events - guiding the next chapter of innovation and excellence at the landmark Art Nouveau palace on the Danube.
Madrid‑born and a graduate of Vatel, Nîmes, López brings nearly 18 years of Four Seasons experience across London, Paris, Lisbon and Madrid. He began his journey in London, later joining the task force for the reopening of Four Seasons Hotel London at Park Lane. In Paris, he contributed to the success of Four Seasons Hotel George V, including the opening of L’Orangerie and its First Michelin star, while overseeing renowned venues such as La Galerie. Returning to Spain as Director of Food and Beverage, he helped launch Four Seasons Hotel Madrid and collaborated closely with Chef Dani García to elevate Dani Brasserie. Known for his refined service philosophy and passion for wine, López is celebrated for creating memorable experiences for both international travellers and local guests.

He is particularly passionate about showcasing Hungarian artisans and producers, with a special admiration for the world‑renowned wines of Tokaj, which he considers among the legendary wine regions of the world. Plans for the coming year include elevated culinary experiences crafted to surprise and delight while maintaining the signature warmth for which Four Seasons is known. Lopez is also focused on positioning Gresham Palace as a culinary destination within the city, ensuring that both epicureans in Budapest and international travellers view its restaurants and bars as highlights in the capital’s vibrant dining landscape.
