Think Magenta Nature at Four Seasons Hotel Cairo at The First Residence
In honour of celebrating Global Wellness Day, the Spa team at Four Seasons Hotel Cairo at The First Residence will host a wellness program on Saturday, June 8, 2024 by the shimmering outdoor pool, located on the fourth floor – a sparkling oasis where the cares of the world fade and are replaced by serenity and calm underneath Cairo’s skyline and the warm sun rays.
Celebrating this year’s Global Wellness Day theme, #MagentaNature, the Spa team at Four Seasons Hotel Cairo at The First Residence has prepared a variety of activities to promote a healthy and balanced lifestyle, reminding guests and employees to take a moment to stop, breathe and smile amid the serene embrace of the Hotel’s outdoor pool and its tranquil and turquoise hues underneath the warm Egyptian sun with detox refreshments, fresh juices and nutritious snacks served on the side to give enough boost of energy for an exciting day ahead.
Bodyweight Class 8:00 am
The day of wellness to begin with a bodyweight session that includes resistance training, push-ups, squats, planks, pull-ups, stretching and mobility to improve the range of motion and to stretch the muscle tissue, strength, power, endurance, speed, flexibility, coordination and the balance of the body and well-being.
Stretching 10:00 am
After the bodyweight class is complete, guests are invited to take part in a gentle warm up of morning stretches for an hour long set amid the outdoor tranquillity and healing music to enhance flexibility, improve posture and to recharge and re-energize for the rest of the wellness program.
Water Aerobics 12:00 noon
To refresh and stretch the muscles, the wellness program ends with an invigorating Water Aerobics class led by the Spa’s personal trainer Gad Gad. From jumping jacks and flutter kicks to arm raises and knee lift exercises, it’s the perfect training class to escape the summer heat and to improve weight loss and cardio fitness.
Whirlpool and Sauna 1:00 pm
After a well-rounded session of a bodyweight exercise, stretching and Water Aerobics in the outdoor pool, guests are then invited to relax in The Spa’s sauna and whirlpool to ease their body tension, alleviate muscles, spend some quality time and aid in their workout recovery.
