A Tarwiquh Journey from Beirut to Cairo at Four Seasons Hotel Cairo at The First Residence

Cairo at The First Residence, Egypt

In the heart of Cairo, within Four Seasons Hotel Cairo at The First Residence, a luxury hotel in Giza, mornings take on a more leisurely rhythm. On the fourth floor, Aura Restaurant overlooks the sparkling pool, where guests are invited to indulge in a late Tarwiquh-style breakfast, featuring a traditional blend of Egyptian warmth and Lebanese soul.

The family-style experience unfolds with hand-stretched Egyptian feteer, delicately drizzled with molasses and tahini, crisp golden falafel, slow-simmered fava beans, and the comforting embrace of grilled halloumi and freshly baked thyme manakish. Each dish is thoughtfully crafted to celebrate tradition, turning breakfast into a moment of connection and cultural discovery.

“As I grew up in Beirut Lebanon, mornings carried the aroma of freshly baked manakish and the whispers of family gathering around the table. Recreating those flavours here allows me to share that sense of home, reminding our guests that breakfast is about togetherness as much as it’s about flavour,” says Chef Ahmed Zoghbi.

At Aura, breakfast becomes a cherished moment to truly savour. A gentle invitation to start the day surrounded by the lively spirit of Cairo and the heartfelt warmth of Lebanese tradition, all bathed in the golden glow of the Egyptian sun. With breakfast extended until 2:00 pm, guests are welcomed to linger a little longer, unwind, and let the soothing poolside views create a peaceful backdrop for their morning.

Late Tarwiquh Breakfast: served daily from 11:30 am – 2:00 pm
