This month, Four Seasons Hotel Chicago continues to celebrate the 1989 Luxury Legends, highlighting In-Room Dining team members Alberto, Yunting and Benito. Their undeniable generosity and heart for making others happy have amply contributed to the Hotel’s 35 successful years.

Alberto Moreno

Meet Alberto Moreno, an irreplaceable member of the #FSLuxuryLegends team at Four Seasons Hotel Chicago, celebrating an incredible 35-year journey with the Hotel. Alberto’s time began after receiving a recommendation from fellow Luxury Legend Dimas Perez. After growing up in the same hometown and working alongside one another in hotels around the city, Dimas shared news of a job opening in stewarding. Not long after, Alberto and now 35-year colleague Benito joined the team. After 6 years, Alberto’s role expanded into Room Service and Banquets. Alberto has grown to be an invaluable member of the team at Four Seasons Chicago, serving smiles to guests and infallible support to his In-Room Dining peers. He speaks fondly of his journey with Four Seasons Chicago, emphasizing how it feels good to work for a company that values their employees.

Driven by the life’s potential, Alberto dreams of building a home in Mexico upon his retirement. He also enjoys celebrating his favourite soccer team Los Pumas and eating Mexican food in his free time.

Benito Rodriguez

In May of 1988, Benito came to the US from Puebla, Mexico. He began a career in Chicago hospitality at hotels Marriot and Wyndham. After learning Four Seasons was hiring through fellow teammate and luxury legend Alberto, the two applied together and landed positions with the Stewarding department. After 14 months in the Stewarding department, Benito transferred to Banquets and In-Room Dining, where he has remained an integral part of the team since.

After an incredible 35 years with the property, Benito applauds the company's commitment to their employees, sharing how Four Seasons Chicago puts employees first through “constant consideration and integrity.” Benito reflects fondly on his time and celebrates the ongoing positivity and encouragement of his coworkers. He shares, “It is an area where we can play around and have fun, but get work done. It’s a fun challenge.” Benito is thankful for the lifelong friendships he’s made over his years with Four Seasons Chicago. He shares how those friendships have deepened over the years, and how they meet and vacation with each other’s families.

Outside of work, Benito enjoys tending to his lush garden full of plants. He also loves to exercise, sticking to an impressive regimen, working out at least three times a week.

Yunting Scranton

For Yunting, or Yun as she is fondly called by her colleagues, her career with Four Seasons began in Boston working as a housekeeper. Having had wonderful experiences in Boston, Yun took a leap and transferred her talents to Four Seasons Chicago, where she realized no matter where she was, she would always find family at Four Seasons.  After often running into familiar faces in Chicago from her time at the Boston property, she shares, “It’s a small world and it’s a nice thing about the company.”

Yun looks forward to coming into work each day, crediting her team’s hardworking and supportive environment for making it a joyful place to be. Her warm presence resonates with guests, and she loves engaging in conversation with everyone she meets. It is a delight for her when guests recognize her during their stay - many remember her name and greet her with enthusiasm around the property.

Yun’s genuine passion for assisting guests shines through, whether she is answering questions about the mini bar or delivering treats to their door. She takes immense joy in creating memorable experiences, always eager to share in the happiness of those she serves.

In her free time Yun enjoys traveling, particularly to Boston to visit her old hot spots and past teammates.

Please join the FS Chicago team in offering well-deserved congratulations to Alberto, Benito and Yunting.
