Natividad "Nati" Loza, Laundry Attendant

Thirty-five years ago, Natividad Loza walked through the doors of Four Seasons Chicago, excited to begin a new journey. Known lovingly as “Nati” by her colleagues, she brought with her optimism, compassion, and a genuine eagerness to learn - qualities that have shone brightly throughout her remarkable three-decades long career.

Reflecting on her time with the Hotel, Nati finds it impossible to pick just one standout moment, thanks to the many great memories she’s made. She says, “How I was treated here by the team was my favourite part of working at Four Seasons. Their kindness and support always inspired me to do my best.” Though much has changed over the years - from renovations to new faces - Nati notes, “It’s been wonderful to see the changes, but the most important thing that remains is the culture. Everyone here is still just as kind and supportive as the day I started.”

As Nati celebrates her 35th anniversary, she also begins a new chapter, as she celebrates her retirement this month. She is excited to spend more time with her family, especially her grandchildren, and reconnect with loved ones in her hometown of Guanajuato, Mexico. Reflecting on her time with the Hotel, Nati shares, “I’ve had the privilege of working with many of my teammates for all 35 years. We’ve truly become like family. I’m going to miss seeing them every day.”

Nati celebrated her retirement and 35 years of meaningful contributions to Four Seasons Hotel Chicago alongside friends and colleagues earlier this month.
