The World’s Best Bar Meets Chicago’s Notorious Liquor: Mile High Cocktail Club at Four Seasons Unveils Exclusive Jeppson’s Malört Cocktail with Handshake Speakeasy

Four Seasons Hotel Chicago announces the extension of Mile High Cocktail Club, the city’s most exclusive speakeasy, now running through March 31, 2025. This limited-time experience, a collaboration with Handshake Speakeasy, the #1 Bar in the World as ranked by the World’s 50 Best Bars, offers an elevated cocktail journey high above the city skyline. In celebration, the bar will launch a new secret cocktail featuring Chicago’s infamous Jeppson's Malört.

Handshake Speakeasy has crafted a playful new addition to the menu: the Handshakes Handshake. Inspired by the legendary “Chicago Handshake” pairing of Malört and a local beer, this elevated rendition features Bombay Sapphire Gin, grapefruit, Malört, dry vermouth, and grapefruit soda, striking the perfect balance of bright citrus with the distinctive bitterness of Malört. The cocktail is available exclusively as a secret menu item: guests must be in the know to order this limited-time creation. Handshakes Handshake will be available beginning March 1, 2025 through the end of the month.

Located on the 46th floor of Four Seasons Hotel Chicago, this 40-seat hidden lounge provides a breathtaking backdrop of the Magnificent Mile, enhanced by a handcrafted cocktail menu curated by Handshake’s expert mixologists. Guests can enjoy a two-drink package or indulge in a four-drink experience that includes a welcome glass of Champagne.

• Cariño: Bacardi Reserva 8 Años, Yellow Chartreuse, vanilla, lemon, Greek yogurt, and nutmeg. Creamy / Fresh / Short
• Butter Mushroom Old Fashioned: Angels Envy Bourbon, brown butter, mushroom, maple, and walnut. Complex / Nutty / Short
