In partnership with Epicuren, The Spa introduces a range of vitality promoting facials and body therapies designed to promote skin that is lighter, tighter and brighter while providing the ultimate path to healthy, radiant wellbeing.

Metadermabolic Enzyme

There is only one part of the body that does not age: the inside of the mouth.  More than thirty years ago, scientists discovered this unique regenerative property to be the result of an enzyme released in the mouth that causes cells to forget their history of damage. This enzyme was then artificially created in a laboratory and used to treat severely scarred burn victims.

Observing the effects of the enzyme on people with extreme tissue damage, a scientist name Robert Heiman realised the potential for skin cell regeneration in the general, healthy population.  Using the same principals as the pharmaceutical grade product he had observed, Heiman and his wife developed and the Enzyme Vitamin Protein complex that is the cornerstone of the line today.  A powerful combination of three B vitamins and two proteins - collagen and elastin - this serum has been likened to “liquid gold” thanks to its rare restorative powers.

Available in Hong Kong exclusively at Four Seasons, the Hotel introduces this innovative skincare line with a range of results-driven, luxurious treatments for face and body. Senior Director of Spa Shoshana Weinberg is thrilled to be working with a company with a history of innovation and a grounding in natural remedies. “We needed a product line that had the best of both worlds - nature and a commitment to the environment and the latest in scientific developments.  We needed treatments that offered deep cleaning with good extraction and lots of hydration. At this stage of my life I see the need for this balance and Epicuren offers us that.” 

Epicuren will launch at the Spa with two new body treatments and a five facials.

Signature Treatments

• The Jet Lag Solution - Say goodbye to sluggish mornings with this two part Jet Lag Solution.  Awaken in the morning with a mint and Tahitian sand scrub plus an invigorating massage.  Come back in the evening to repose with the soothing strokes of a tension-melting massage performed with a rich chamomile cream, then slip into slumber in the embrace of a heated body wrap. 3 hours
• Immune Defense - A 90 minute face and body treatment utilising propolis, a polyphenol-rich sap produced by bees and known for its anti-inflammatory and antibacterial properties.  Ideal for those with compromised immune systems or sensitive skin.  1.5 hours

Facials

• Epicuren Ageless Enzyme Facial - Using Epicuren’s patented Metadermabolic Enzyme technology, this unique enzyme complex resets cellular memory, stimulating cell metabolism to dramatically lift, tighten and visibly firm facial skin, increasing textural clarity and tone. 1.5 or 2 hours
• Phyto Stem Cell Facial - No needles necessary for this revolutionary facial.  Harnessing the potential of natural ingredients such as blood orange stem cells, dragon’s blood extract and goji berries this facial dramatically plumps, lifts, and hydrates for a lasting deep and lasting glow. 1, 1.5 or 2 hours
• Barbershop Facial - Hot towels, eucalyptus, and a nutrient rich serum of vitamins A, C and E are the stars of this luxurious facial designed with gentlemen in mind.  1 or 1.5 hours
• ACNE Facial - Using a unique combination of exfoliating enzymes, sulfur, propolis and probiotics, this facial will tame stubborn breakouts and get guests on the path to clean, clear, beautiful skin.  1 or 1.5 hours
• Rapid Renewal Pee - A half hour supplement to any facial using a power packed combo of lactic and glycolic acid, time-released to minimise irritation.  30 minutes
