Four Seasons Hotel Houston Celebrates Fall in H-Town

Seasonal experiences delight at Houston’s downtown destination

With the arrival of fall, Houston buzzes with exciting experiences and events, and beautiful weather to match. The Hotel’s seasonal special events for fall 2024 include:

  • Through October 12 – Liquid Sanctuary: Sip and luxuriate on the resort-style Pool Deck with Liquid Sanctuary. Enjoy specials on refreshing zero-proof and low-ABV beverages, flavoured waters, and adaptogen-infused beverages. Take in the fall sun, play pool games, and stretch out with Saturday morning yoga (beginning September 14). Delight in delectable poolside cuisine at The Pool Deck Café, which offers tasty, poolside options created for every palate, along with a refreshing selection of cocktails and wines.
  • September through October – Fall Flavours: Bayou & Bean welcomes the season with a seasonal menu of specialty coffees and teas, including Pumpkin Spice Latte, Honey Cinnamon Oat Latte, Peanut Butter Mocha, White Chocolate Cinnamon Bun Cold Brew, and Apple Spice Green Tea; along with housemade treats from Executive Pastry Chef Krystin McCarley, including Pumpkin Cookie with Maple Glaze, Apple Pie Danish, and Blood Orange Cardamom Donut.
  • September - Garrison Brothers’ Hye Fashioned Takeover: Cheers to America’s favourite classic cocktail - The Old Fashioned. During this month-long celebration, Bayou & Bottle will offer The Stronghold, created by bartender David Brookins. This inspired cocktail combines Garrison Brothers Small Batch Texas Straight Bourbon Whiskey, chai-spiced turbinado syrup, Angostura bitters, Regan’s orange bitters, and smoked star anise. For every tagged Instagram post of the featured cocktail, Garrison Brothers will make a donation of USD 5 to Boot Campaign to support their life-changing programs for veterans and military families.
  • September 7, 11, 13, 21, 26 – Bourbon Heritage Month: Celebrate America’s spirit with a series of curated master bourbon tasting events hosted by Bayou & Bottle General Manager Bardia Ketabi and select brand ambassadors each week, including Michter’s, Basil Hayden, Knob Creek, and Garrison Brothers. Reservations are required for these two-hour experiences, which include a welcome cocktail, four tastings and lite bites.
  • September 12 – James Beard Tasting: The James Beard Organization is bringing its Taste America culinary series to town with a walk-around tasting at Four Seasons Hotel Houston on September 12 at 7:00 pm. Taste America celebrates culinary excellence and the local independent restaurants at the heart of their communities, bringing together chefs and food lovers for unique dining experiences across 20 US cities. The Houston walk-around tasting will feature Chef Emmanuel Chavez from Tatemó, in collaboration with local guest chefs, including Toro Toro’s Chef Jonathan Esparza.   • September 12 - Kendra Scott Pop-Up: Austin-based Kendra Scott has built a global base of fans and collectors, making this Texas designer’s jewellery some of the most recognized there is. Kendra Scott pushes the boundaries of design and innovation while staying true to their principles: colour, shape, material, and value. Popping-up in the Lobby from 2:00 to 5:00 pm, Kendra Scott signature earrings, bracelets, rings, and necklaces will be available, ensuring plenty of summer sparkle for all.
  • Beginning September 13 – 3/4/5/6 Happy Hour at Toro Toro: Pull up a barstool, get comfy in the lounge, or grab a spot at the “Suviche” Bar for Toro Toro’s new 3/4/5/6 Happy Hour. Offered daily from 3:00 – 6:00 pm, enjoy USD 3 off featured beers; USD 4 off all wines by the glass; and USD 5 off all specialty cocktails, including Mercado Margarita, Tamarindo, Pina Mezcalita, Manhattan Con Elote, Cantarito, Mango Mujer, Loquito Por Ti, and La Rosa. Chef Jonathan Esparza’s favourite appetizers, including Guacamole, Swordfish Dip, Jamon Iberico, Sweet Corn Empanadas, Truffle Fries, Carne Asada Tacos, Shrimp Cocktail Aguachile, Peruvian Ceviche, Angry Scorpion Roll, and Aburi Salmon Roll are offered at USD 6 off.
  • September 18-21 - National Negroni Week: Clearly, there’s nothing to be bitter about during National Negroni Week at Bandista. Enjoy three specially-crafted Negroni cocktails, including the Negroni Sbagliato, comprised of clarified Campari, blanc vermouth, and prosecco. A portion of proceeds will benefit Slow Food’s mission to foster a more equitable and sustainable world of food and beverage. Bandista is open Wednesday through Saturday from 5:00 pm until 12:00 midnight. Reservations are required.
  • September 27, 28 and October 25, 26 - Ben Jackson’s Magic, Music & Mayhem: Delight the senses at Ben Jackson’s live one-man show, Magic, Music & Mayhem. This one-of-a-kind performance breathes new life into the ancient art by showcasing magic’s vitality in a truly immersive, close-up experience. Sip cocktails and experience one of Houston’s best-kept secrets: a night of mystery in the Bayou City, curated by host and international champion magician Ben Jackson. Tickets from USD 55.   
  • October 1 – November 30 - Sugar & Spice Spa: Guests of The Spa and Nail Bar are invited to experience a luxurious fall-themed body or nail treatment. The Sugar and Spice Body Scrub & Massage begins with a cinnamon sugar scrub; followed by a nourishing application of body butter with cold-pressed coconut and cacay oil, shea butter, safflower oil, and apricot oil; and concludes with a therapeutic massage. This 80-minute experience is priced at USD 300. Guests can also enjoy a Sugar and Spice Nail Treatment, in which nails are trimmed, filed, and shaped while fingers and toes are hydrated with warm notes of sugar and spice. A polish to perfection using Zoya Natural Nail Polish or Dazzle Dry Nail Lacquer follows. These 60-minute treatments are priced from USD 75 (manicure) and USD 85 (pedicure).
  • October 1 - November 3 - Dia de Los Muertos: The spirit of the season will be in full swing at Toro Toro for Dia de los Muertos, the celebration that calls to remember family and friends through food, drink, and sharing. The acclaimed pan-Latin steakhouse by Richard Sandoval will feature modern takes on classics items. A duo of cocktails includes: Celosia (berry-mint infused mescal, coconut liqueur, ube coconut water, blackberry; and Papel Picado Paloma (Gran Malo Spicy Tamarindo Tequila, Créme de Violette, agave, lime, red wine, hibiscus). Featured dishes include Filete en Salsa Negra (beef tenderloin, tres chilis gastrique, heirloom carrot, butternut squash, agave purple mashed potato); and Pan de Muerto (cocoa glaze, espresso cream, blackberry chutney, dark chocolate champurrado) for dessert. Reservations are recommended.
  • October 1–31 – Octoberfest Menu: Embrace the flavours of fall and Bavarian tradition by celebrating Octoberfest at Bayou & Bottle. In addition to specials on German beer, Chef Gaby Jimenez has created a traditional Octoberfest menu, available for USD 32, which includes Soft Pretzel Rods with Cheese Dip, Bavarian Bratwurst with Whole Grain Mustard, Pastrami Slices, Cambozola Triple Cream Soft-Ripened Blue Cheese, Muenster Cheese, Sauerkraut, and Cornichons.
  • October 30 – November 2 - Potions & Elixirs: Get spirited at Bandista’s All Hallows Eve-themed experience. Dress up and step behind the bookcase for specialty spooky cocktails served by the best vampire bartenders in Houston. Reservations are required.
  • November and December: The Hotel is preparing for a busy holiday season, with festive highlights including the Annual Tree Lighting, Thanksgiving Brunch, Gingerbread Tea, Christmas Brunch, and New Year’s Eve parties.
