Four Seasons Resort Hualalai, the only resort on the Island of Hawaii to earn both the AAA Five Diamond and Forbes Five-Star distinctions alongside two Michelin keys, has unveiled an exciting lineup of summer programming for the 2025 season. From June through August, the beloved Hawaiian retreat invites new and returning guests to experience a dynamic season of curated offerings, including visits from top fitness trainers, a festive Fourth of July celebration, immersive stargazing experiences, lively luaus and an array of limited-time culinary specials.

“Summer is an exciting and meaningful time at our resort,” says Charlie Parker, Regional Vice President and General Manager of Four Seasons Resort Hualalai. “Our team is dedicated to crafting personalized experiences that embody the spirit of aloha - whether welcoming families returning for their annual tradition or couples discovering the island for the first time. This season’s programming invites guests of all ages to connect with the natural beauty, culture and community of Hawaii, all while enjoying the comfort and exclusivity of our world-class accommodations.”

The Resort has curated a variety of events and celebrations for the 2025 summer season, offering something for every age and interest. For kids, several exciting activations and experiences are planned, including the highly anticipated return of Camp Manitou, one of the nation’s foremost summer camps designed for children ages 9 to 17. Marking its ninth year, daily programming emphasizes group bonding through cultural, recreational and exploratory activities both at the Resort and across the island. Highlights include visits to hidden beaches, lava tube and waterfall explorations, snorkelling at Kealakekua Bay and stargazing atop Mauna Kea, a dormant volcano and the highest point in all of Hawaii. Additionally, families can participate in daily activities at the Kaupulehu Cultural Center, where they’ll learn to make leis, take hula lessons and play the ukulele through immersive, hands-on experiences. The Resort will also host movies under the stars, poolside art classes, themed dinner nights and more. On Saturday, July 26, 2025, Hualalai will host Real Madrid, Spain’s beloved professional soccer club, for a youth soccer clinic for keiki ages 5-17.

Additional highlights for the season include:

  • Luau and Polynesian Shows: Throughout July and August, guests can experience traditional luaus featuring authentic Hawaiian cuisine, craft cocktails, hula dancing and thrilling fire knife performances at the Hoku Amphitheater.
  • Complimentary S’mores and Stargazing: Families can gather under the stars for a cozy evening of s’mores and celestial exploration.
  • Fourth of July Celebration: A festive evening complete with a dinner buffet, live entertainment, dancing and a fireworks display.
  • Fresh Coconut Service: Throughout the summer, on-site staff will be available to open fresh coconuts for guests to enjoy poolside.
  • DJ Pool Parties at Palm Grove: Every weekend in July, adults can unwind at the resort’s adults-only Palm Grove pool with lively DJ sets and tropical cocktails.
  • Private Picnics: Guests are invited to choose from a selection of gourmet picnic experiences, allowing them to dine outdoors in various locations along the oceanfront Resort.

The resort’s culinary team, led by Executive Chef Richard Polhemus, offers a variety of dining options and uniquely Hawaiian culinary experiences, with menus that highlight the bounty of Hawaii’s farms and coasts. At Beach Tree, guests can savour a Piedmontese Beef wine dinner, unwind during Aperitivo Hour from 3:00 to 5:00 pm daily, and enjoy the Tide to Table, Amalfi Under the Stars theme night menu every Wednesday. The renowned LINE Bar from Athens, Greece (ranked #6 best bar in the world), will host two invited bartenders for exciting collaborative events in July. Over at the newly reimagined ULU, guests can join a Big Island Farm Tour dinner with the proprietor or indulge in a Laurent Perrier Champagne Dinner. At chef Tyler Florence’s Miller & Lux Hualalai, guests can partake in seasonal specials, including Caviar & Champagne nights on Thursday evenings and Fried Chicken Sundays. The recently debuted NOIO is also available for a nightly taste through the day’s freshest catches, and an exclusive omakase counter helmed by Chef Nuri Piccio.

Taking full advantage of its prime oceanfront location, the resort offers an array of water activities, including scuba diving, deep-sea fishing, snorkel scootering, SEABOB adventures, stand-up paddling and more. These are offered through the newest addition to its world-class ocean activities team: the Alaka’i Nui, a 46-foot (14 metre) catamaran operated by the Alaka‘i Nalu (“leaders of the waves”). This custom vessel allows guests to design their own bespoke ocean adventures while exploring the pristine waters and vibrant marine life off the coast of Hualālai. Guests can also participate in interactive marine education and ocean preservation programming at the Kumu Kai Marine Center, led by the resort’s dedicated Natural Resources team, or swim with more than 1,000 tropical fish in the 1.8-million-gallon (6.8-million-litre) swimmable aquarium, King’s Pond.

A variety of options are available at the Hualalai Sports Club, including yoga, Pilates and cycling, as well as numerous activities such as tennis, pickleball and championship golf at the Hualalai Golf Course. To further enhance the fitness experience, celebrity trainer and nutrition guru Harley Pasternak returns to Hualalai to host a series of fitness and nutrition events.

A special offer, Enhanced Experience More, is available over select dates throughout the summer offering up to USD 400 nightly Resort credit for suite room reservations. To make a reservation for the 2025 summer Season, click here to book online or call 808 325 8000.
