Begin a New Holiday Tradition at Four Seasons Hotel New Orleans

Throughout the month of December 2021, guests are invited to experience the magic of the holidays at Four Seasons Hotel and Private Residences New Orleans with festive programming and holiday offers. On the heels of its grand opening and a USD 500-million transformation, the Hotel offers a luxury retreat from the bustling Crescent City and the perfect blend of character and warmth to set the stage for new festive traditions.
“The holidays are such a special time for families and friends to celebrate and make memories,” says Mali Carow, General Manager of Four Seasons Hotel and Private Residences New Orleans. “Here in New Orleans, there are so many great traditions, and we are thrilled to introduce our special holiday offerings to our guests.”
Réveillon, a New Orleans Culinary Tradition
The Creole tradition of Réveillon, historically celebrated as a family feast following Christmas Eve mass, has been reinvented at Miss River as a lavish four-course holiday menu. Chef Alon Shaya has envisioned a decadent Réveillon menu that includes seasonal dishes unique to the region such as Crab Devilled Eggs; Turtle Soup with Sherry Flambée; Oyster Stuffing; Sugar Cane Lacquered Smoked Duck; and Redfish Court Bouillon. To get in the festive spirit, diners are encouraged to partake in the restaurant’s Mulled Wine Station, Food Stage and Sherry Bar Cart.
The Reveillon menu will be offered nightly throughout the month of December 2021. Reservations are available via OpenTable.
Cheers Under the Chandelier
Toast to the season at Chandelier Bar, seated beneath 15,000 sparkling crystals, hand cut in the Czech Republic. Guests can enjoy beautiful executions of New Orleans classic cocktails, such as the Sazerac Hurricane, and French 75, as well as festive holiday drinks including a Smore's & Cognac Milk Punch. For those wanting to soak up New Orleans’ live music scene, they needn’t look any further than Chandelier Bar with live, local music offered nightly Thursdays through Sundays.
New Year's Eve
At New Orleans’ newest luxury hotel, New Year's Eve will be filled with glamour and over the top celebrations. Award-winning chef Donald Link offers an elegant menu in Chemin à la Mer of Poached Spot Prawns with shaved crudités and a kumquat-miso vinaigrette; Foie Gras in terrine served with marinated artichoke and shaved black truffle; and King Crab with a spicy sauce diable and pickled butternut squash. The fourth course and showstopper of the menu is Wagyu Chateaubriand with wild-foraged matsutake mushrooms, celeriac and potatoes. The restaurant will offer two seatings at 6:00 and 9:00 pm. The second seating will include live entertainment, exclusive access to the Hotel’s fifth floor pool deck for unparalleled views of the city’s “Dueling Barges” fireworks display, and a Champagne toast at midnight.
Alon Shaya’s Miss River will offer a delectable menu of Shrimp Bisque, Spiced Whole-Roasted Foie Gras brioche, Baked Grouper with lump crabmeat, Dry-Aged Beef Strip au poivre, and a Chocolate Mousse Cake tangerine. Miss River will also offer two seatings, at 6:00 and 9:00 pm. Guests at the second seating will enjoy live music, access to the Hotel’s festive Winter Garden and a Champagne toast at midnight.
Access to Chandelier Bar will be available exclusively to guests and residents within the Hotel and its restaurants. For those who prefer a quiet evening of luxury, the Hotel’s riverside accommodations will provide some of the best views in town to enjoy the fireworks, all from the comfort of one's own guest room or suite.
