Four Seasons Hotel George V, Paris Unveils this Festive Season’s King’s Cake

To celebrate Epiphany, Guillaume Cabrol, the talented Head Baker of Four Seasons Hotel George V, Paris, has created an indulgent King’s Cake designed for the season of sharing. Bound to delight both young and old, this year’s creation showcases the expertise of Guillaume and his team, who have reimagined the classic Galette des Rois, or King’s Cake, with a delicate caramel glaze and a cazette flower at its centre. To recreate the pastry’s graceful curves, the chef has combined cocoa-infused puff pastry with caramelised croissant dough, achieving a refined balance of textures, colours and forms.
At its heart, the frangipane marries the delicate sweetness of almonds with the aromatic intensity of Burgundy Cazette flowers, lifted by notes of vanilla and a hint of rum. Wrapped in a delicate chocolate puff pastry, it unveils deep, velvety cocoa notes, offering indulgent morsels that captivate the palate, delighting even the most discerning sweet tooth.
To crown the experience, Guillaume Cabrol has hidden a delicate porcelain hazelnut within each King’s Cake. Meticulously handcrafted by artist Olivia Pellerin, every piece is unique, offering a touch of artistry reserved for the fortunate finder.
The King’s Cake by Four Seasons Hotel George V, Paris is available to pre-order from October 15, 2025, with collection from the hotel between December 26, 2025 and January 6, 2026, inclusive. The King’s Cake is priced at EURO 85 and serves six to eight people.
