Four Seasons Hotel Philadelphia at Comcast Center announces its recognition within Travel + Leisure's 2020 It List of the world's best new and renovated resorts. Following the opening at a new address in August 2019, the magazine's prestigious list celebrates the Hotel’s return to the city, the towering Jeff Leatham floral installations, celebrated culinary offerings and sweeping views.

"It comes with great pleasure to announce that we have been recognised by Travel + Leisure as one of the best hotel openings of 2020," says General Manager Ben Shank. "Philadelphia is a captivating city with a burgeoning culinary scene, a vibrant arts and culture sector and we’re honoured and excited to leave our mark in one of America’s most historic and important cities. We look forward to creating new memories and traditions with our guests for many years to come.”

Occupying floors 48-60 of the new Comcast Technology Center, Four Seasons Hotel Philadelphia was designed by British architect Norman Foster of Foster + Partners.  As the highest Hotel in North America, this modern steel and glass structure boasts breath-taking views all the way to the Delaware River. As guests walk into their rooms, they are greeted by musician and visual artist Brian Eno’s soundscapes and added amenities including bath products from luxury French beauty brand Guerlain, amid thoughtful and intuitive technology all around.

Culinary offerings include JG SkyHigh cocktail bar on the 60th floor, as well as French-American fare at Jean-Georges Philadelphia restaurant on the 59th. James Beard Award-winning Chef Greg Vernick’s modern oyster bar, Vernick Fish is located on the ground level and offers imaginative global flavours for lunch and dinner alike. High above the clouds on the 57th floor is a haven of health and wellness that includes an indoor infinity-edge pool that “spills” into the sky; a state-of-the-art fitness centre and seven luxurious treatment rooms.

In celebration of its return to the city, Four Seasons Hotel Philadelphia at Comcast Center is extending several overnight offers that may be booked online or by calling 1 800 819 5053. Reservations for Jean-Georges Philadelphia, Vernick Fish, and Vernick Coffee Bar are available through OpenTable.

The 15th annual list as determined by Travel + Leisure editors is the culmination of months of research on hundreds of new and renovated hotels around the world.
