Four Seasons Hotel St. Louis Congratulates General Manager Alper Oztok and Sommelier Anthony Geary on Recent Accolades from HSMAI Missouri Chapter

Hospitality Sales & Marketing Association International Missouri Chapter awards both General Manager of the Year and Food & Beverage Professional of the Year to Hotel team members

The Missouri Chapter of Hospitality Sales & Marketing Association International (HSMAI) named Alper Oztok of Four Seasons Hotel St. Louis “General Manager of the Year” and Anthony Geary, the Hotel’s sommelier, “Food & Beverage Professional of the Year” for 2022. Each year the organization recognizes members for outstanding service and commitment.  The General Manager of the Year Award is presented to an individual who has contributed to the community as a leader in the industry, while the Food & Beverage Professional of the Year Award recognizes an individual who provides outstanding guest service and possesses strong industry knowledge.

Alper Oztok, an 18-year veteran with Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts, opened the St. Louis property 14 years ago.  Since then he has been committed to consistently enhancing the guest experience as well as taking care of the Hotel’s family of employees. Hospitality is part of the cultural fabric in his native country of Turkey, and his passion for the industry has been evident since he began his career and steadily advanced from the ground up through hard work.

Anthony Geary, Sommelier for Four Seasons Hotel St. Louis, leads the Hotel’s wine program and is responsible for achieving its many accolades to date.  This includes winning the Award of Excellence from Wine Spectator for the third consecutive year on behalf of the Hotel’s Cinder House restaurant.  Anthony also recently achieved Advanced Sommelier status from the prestigious Court of Master Sommeliers.
