Four Seasons Hotel Washington, DC Elevates Lobby Artistry with World-Renowned Floral Designer

Four Seasons Hotel Washington, DC is ushering in a new era of floral artistry with rotating lobby installations led by floral designer Jeff Leatham beginning this fall. This initiative builds on the success of the hotel’s recent cherry blossom display, the largest one to date, created by Leatham earlier this year. The stunning installation, inspired by the vibrancy of DC’s iconic spring season, featured thousands of cascading silk cherry blossoms and transformed the lobby into a breathtaking visual experience.
Now, the hotel is taking that vision even further. The lobby will be continuously reimagined as a living gallery of colour, movement, and creativity, offering guests an ever-changing showcase of floral art that captures the spirit of each season. Whether enjoying an overnight stay or simply passing through the Georgetown neighbourhood, guests will be immersed in an environment where art, nature, and design converge.
The creative direction for these installations will be led by Leatham, whose signature style and dramatic floral statements have made him an international icon. On-property execution will be managed by longtime collaborator and team member Jacob Seol, who has worked alongside Leatham on installations around the world, from Paris and Los Angeles to Dubai.
Prior to his role with Jeff Leatham Design, Seol oversaw the daily floral design operations at Four Seasons Hotel Philadelphia, where he consistently delivered elevated guest experiences through his artistic precision and mastery of the Leatham aesthetic. With deep technical expertise and a sharp creative eye, Seol brings a unique blend of vision and execution that ensures each installation is flawlessly brought to life.
“We’re excited to introduce this distinctive and memorable layer to our guest experience,” says Marc Bromley, Regional Vice President and General Manager of Four Seasons Hotel Washington, DC. “From the moment guests arrive, they’re immersed in an environment where natural elements are transformed into sculptural works of art that reflect the spirit of each season.”
This ongoing collaboration reflects the hotel’s commitment to providing guests world-class experiences in the heart of the nation’s capital. With new floral creations unveiled weekly, each visit promises something fresh, inspiring, and unforgettable.
