How do you enjoy New York's parks and green spaces in spring and summer?

As a devoted dog owner, I love taking advantage of the city's many dog runs and lush green spaces. My favourite spot? The lawns along the west side by the Hudson River that face the sunset. They're perfect for a picnic.

What annual events downtown do you eagerly anticipate each spring and summer?

The Frieze Art Fair is a must for me. It's a cultural highlight in the city that takes place in May at The Shed in Hudson Yards, and I just can't skip.

Where are your favourite places for al fresco dining and patio drinks as the weather gets warmer?

The West Village is full of charming terraces ideal for outdoor dining in summer - a favourite is Dante West Village. When the night calls for something special, the rooftop bars in the Meatpacking District are my go-to for great vibes.

Where can one get the best view of Downtown New York in full bloom during the spring?

Take a stroll through the West Village streets. Come spring, they transform into vibrant corridors of pink and white blossoms - a stunning sight.

How do you prefer exploring local neighbourhoods during the warmer months, and are there areas that come alive in spring and summer?

I'm all about the waterfront. Starting from the marinas by Brookfield or the Seaport, you can enjoy a brisk 15-minute walk from our Hotel, surrounded by the cool river breeze.

What outdoor sports or recreational activities do you engage in during spring and summer?

I hit the tennis and basketball courts sprinkled around the city. And have you noticed? Pickleball is all the rage now, popping up everywhere.

Do you have any recommendations for hidden gems or lesser-known attractions that shine in the spring or summer?

Check out the Lower East Side - it's got a fantastic mix of outdoor terraces, art galleries, iconic pizza places, and secretive alleys that lead to some amazing spots. It's buzzing with life right now.

How can visitors best experience the diverse culture and celebrations in local neighbourhoods during these warmer months?

Just wander through the eclectic streets of Lower Manhattan. From Tribeca to Chinatown, the Lower East Side to SoHo, the West Village, and the Meatpacking District - each offers its own unique flavour of New York's rich cultural tapestry, all within an easy walk of each other and our Hotel.
