Marhaba! The Ocean Club, A Four Seasons Resort, Bahamas Launches Arabic Website

Paradise extends its welcome to Arabic-language travellers as The Ocean Club, A Four Seasons Resort activates a website extension in Arabic. The inaugural translation of the Bahamian resort’s website, the launch comes amid an increase in Arabic-speaking family travellers opting for the white sand beach of Paradise Island and the privacy of the Resort’s three opulent villas. The Ocean Club’s landing page, its services and amenities, location and directions, dining, and family-focused sections were part of the translation project, which went live at the end of July 2019.  

John Conway, General Manager of The Ocean Club, said of the translation, “It’s fitting that we chose Arabic as our first non-English language. There’s a connection between the hospitality one finds in The Bahamas and that of which is familiar to Arabic guests.” With many of the Resort’s team observing decades of tenure, Conway continues, “We’re rather like a family ourselves, in that we say to guests, ‘welcome home,’ as a bellman greets them with a beaming smile. Then a butler such as Arvin Wallace escorts them to the privacy of their room or suite and remains available throughout their stay for local recommendations and personalised experiences.”

Catering to cultural needs, copies of The Holy Qu’ran and prayer mats are provided on request. Halal culinary options are readily available and can be expanded on request. Nassau’s mosque Jamaa' Ahlus-Sunnah Bahamas sits only 20 minutes away with transfers easily accommodated. For guests staying in one of the three exclusive villas, live-in butler service is offered, and all stays include a personal chef and housekeeping service; ensuring lavish and sensitive attention.
