Recognised by Travel + Leisure's 2020 It List of the World's Best New Hotels, Four Seasons Hotel Philadelphia at Comcast Center welcomes back guests on Monday, July 27, 2020.  In collaboration with notable craftsmen – Michelin-starred chef Jean-Georges Vongerichten, James Beard award-winning chef Greg Vernick, and Artistic Director Jeff Leatham – and with a serene wellness spa, Four Seasons Hotel Philadelphia offers a world-class experience close to home.

“Just a few hours drive from major US cities, guests can take in the sights, sounds and tastes of Philadelphia,” says Ben Shank, General Manager. “Our team is eager to welcome back guests with the utmost care and precaution. In this new normal, some things have changed, which is why we have focused on strengthening our already stringent health and safety measures through our new Lead With Care program.  This program is founded in the principles of trust, care and empathy that have always been at the core of our culture.”

Escape to the Clouds

With unobstructed, sweeping views throughout, Four Seasons Hotel Philadelphia occupies the top 12 floors of the new 60-storey Comcast Technology Center, making it the highest Hotel in North America. The modern steel and glass skyscraper, now the tallest in the city, designed by renowned British architect Norman Foster of Foster + Partners redefines the city’s historic skyline.  Not to be missed is the 57th floor haven of health and wellness with 700 pounds of healing crystals embedded into the walls and an indoor infinity-edge pool that “spills” into the sky.

Come to experience the grandeur, but stay for the multitude of exquisite culinary offerings.  Descend the waterfall encased staircase that leads to Philadelphia’s premier dining destination, Jean-Georges Philadelphia. In this modern, comfortable space, enjoy Jean-Georges’ classics as well as unique dishes found only in Philadelphia.  JG SkyHigh, with mirrored ceilings that flood the space with sunset colours followed by sparkling skies sets a dramatic backdrop to the city’s hottest cocktail lounge. Bookending the dining experience is Vernick Fish.  Located on the ground floor with seasonal outdoor dining options, Vernick Fish is helmed by Philadelphia’s own Chef Greg Vernick and highlights a seasonally-inspired and seafood-focused menu.

Plan a local getaway to Four Seasons Hotel Philadelphia, and stay in one 39 suites, honoured in three categories by Departures Magazine Legends Awards, including “World’s Best Views.” Enjoy 20 percent off in a suite when booking 14 days in advance with the Suite Life offer. Arrive by care and take advantage of the Views & Valet offer, including beverages and snacks to keep one company for the drive home.

As we collectively respond to the COVID-19 pandemic, Four Seasons Hotel Philadelphia continues to ensure that guest and employee health and safety remains the top priority. The company's goal is to instill the same level of trust and confidence in Four Seasons Hotel Philadelphia as ever before.

As a part of the Lead With Care program, guests can expect each sleeping room to be equipped with masks, hand sanitizer and sanitization wipes, with additional masks available upon request. Leveraging Technology

A key part of this service initiative will continue to be the Four Seasons App and Chat. While face-to-face interactions may be more limited, Four Seasons will remain as connected as ever. From the comfort of their own device, the App provides a contactless experience that does not compromise Four Seasons genuine care and signature service.

Rediscover Philadelphia

As the first World Heritage City in the US, history comes to life in Philadelphia as one strolls the city’s cobblestone streets in Old City. Guests can admire the growing city skyline while biking along the Schuylkill River Trail, sailing down the Delaware River on the Spirit of Philadelphia and watching the sunset from iconic Boathouse Row.

Philadelphia’s culinary talent holds an impressive concentration of James Beard Award winners, such as 2019’s Best Restaurant in America, Zahav. Sampling the burgeoning food scene is the perfect way to see the city, from coffee shops in up-and-coming Fishtown to the city’s best barbacoa hidden in the 9th Street Market.
