Four Seasons Hotel Philadelphia and Vernick Fish Head “Down the Shore” to Egg Harbor Township for Fourth Annual Benefit Farm Dinner

In partnership with Cookie Till, Chef Greg Vernick returns to Reed’s Farm for a philanthropic evening benefiting A Meaningful Purpose and supporting regenerative agriculture, food access, and inclusive community programming

June 24, 2025,
Philadelphia, U.S.A.

Vernick Fish, the modern American oyster bar located at Four Seasons Hotel Philadelphia at Comcast Center, will once again join forces with Cookie Till of Steve & Cookie’s in Margate, New Jersey, for the fourth annual benefit farm dinner supporting A Meaningful Purpose. Taking place on Sunday, August 3, 2025, this intimate culinary experience will be hosted under the stars at Till’s farm and animal sanctuary, Reed’s Farm in Egg Harbor Township, New Jersey.

This year’s dinner continues a cherished partnership between Vernick Fish and Steve & Cookie’s, anchored in a continued focus on community impact through thoughtful hospitality. For the past three years, Vernick Fish has welcomed Cookie Till and her team for a collaborative takeover dinner in Philadelphia. The 2025 farm dinner continues that tradition, returning the collaboration to the farmland surrounding Margate for a one-night-only celebration of seasonal cooking, heartfelt connection, and a spotlight on Cookie’s mission.

A portion of the evening’s proceeds will benefit A Meaningful Purpose, the nonprofit organization founded by Till to address food insecurity, promote regenerative agriculture, and foster community inclusiveness through programming and partnerships at Reed’s Farm.

The 80-seat experience will feature a multi-course menu prepared by Chef Greg Vernick, Vernick Fish Chef de Cuisine David Paterniti and the Vernick Fish culinary team, showcasing peak summer ingredients grown at Reed’s Farm. Highlighted dishes include an Heirloom Tomato and Peach Salad with Buffalo Mozzarella, farm herbs and flowers, crispy shallots, and a gazpacho vinaigrette; and a Roasted Japanese Sea Bream with Miso Beurre Blanc and Fairytale Eggplant.

Chef Vernick grew up visiting the Jersey shore and got his first kitchen job in Margate, New Jersey. This culinary event celebrates Vernick Fish’s origin story by bringing tastes that have inspired it back to the place that’s played an important role in Chef Vernick’s life, and many others in the Philadelphia area.

Tickets and additional information will be available beginning Tuesday, June 24, 2025, via OpenTable Experiences here.

About A Meaningful Purpose

A Meaningful Purpose was founded in 2020 to address the needs of food insecurity, soil regeneration, and community inclusiveness in Atlantic County, New Jersey.  This mission is carried out at the historic Reed's Farm, continuing the legacy of local food production in the region.  The farm operates organically year-round, hosts a sanctuary for farm animals, and features a farm market offering organic produce and baked goods alongside local vendors. A Meaningful Purpose also provides educational and vocational programming to local schools and organizations with a focus on people with cognitive disabilities.  We aim to provide a community hub that inspires all who gather here to engage with nature and celebrate its healing capabilities.
