Design Aesthetic:

• Historic neo-classical building
• All rooms exhibit classic Louis-Philippe-style furnishings and a substantial ensuite marble bathroom
• All suites on the sixth floor pay tribute to contemporary Swiss chalets, complete with large fireplaces and luxurious soft furnishings
• The most significant restoration took place in 2005 under the creative direction of Pierre-Yves Rochon

History:

• Opened on May Day 1834, the Hotel des Bergues was the largest and most impressive hotel in Switzerland, unveiling an extensive ground floor, with shops and a café-restaurant, not to mention three hotel floors and an attic space to accommodate staff

• Steps from the lake, the Old Town of Geneva and the famous Quartier des Banques with a beautiful view on the Jet d’Eau Fountain
